4 Ship Imperial List

Hey all,

Am thinking of the following build to try out. Looking for a bit of feed back please.

ISD is totally tooled up to be a major target and hopefully take the heat from the other ships. Should be able to hold together due to Wulff and likely spam of engineering commands. Squadrons should suffer if attacking due to counter 1 and point defence reroute.

Intention is for the IDS to be the Anvil to the triple hammer coming from Demolisher and the 2 raiders.

Screed chosen to guarantee ACM from Demolisher, NK7, and hit crit from Raiders.

Minimal squadrons as all ships but demolisher have pretty good anti squadron.

Total 398 Points

Squadrons:

  • 2x TIE

You'll regret not having the squadrons. They keep the enemy at bay. Your anti-squadron dice can't do that.

Also, if you want an ISD to be a tank, it's got to have ECM. Two guppies with ackbar dice will shred you in two turns unless they're incredibly unlucky.

Run the Raider-Is with APTs and drop Ordnance experts. Screed can get you the crit to activate the APT. Saves 24

Ditch Quad laser turrets and Point Defence Reroute and NK7. Saves 20

Upgrade the fighters to 4 Tie-Interceptors then make the ISD an ISD-II with ECMs

Net cost is +1 point.

Unfortunately I don't own any APT's.

Am keen to keep Ord experts on Raiders as it will help them with anit squadron too.
May consider moving expanded launchers to Demolisher and ACM to Raiders.

I am keen to upgrade to an ISD II to get the ECM.

Was also keen to get try out the QLT's and PDR combo but perhaps for another game.
