You have not known joy until you have dropped a Genius proton bomb right in the middle of your enemies tie swarm, where Howlrunner was supposed to be. It is a quite good if situational upgrade.

The best result I had was catching three TIE Advanced with one Proton Bomb.

This actually nails my main knock on genius, what you describe is way easier to do with a Conners net or prox mine, since fel will have not yet moved. Scum has trouble with aces and that's probably your best option.

If I'm taking kavil or drea and I didn't use unhinged and I have points I'm all about genius. Shoot I've even taken bomb load out and no bombs before! I'll have to take genius for complete mindgame.
