Thoughts on Decimator list for tournament

By Goseki1, in X-Wing Squad Lists

The point of EU is that you can run away from 1/2 rangę and get another dice or hide from assaj stressArc. When you Have option to boost its harder to predict your move

the one thing i am still thinking is change predator for Lone wolf to reroll green dice when kenkirk/Range3 gives one dice. We need to Have that 1 evede from dice. EU helps to fly away from assaj stress arc or another arc we just Have more option. I will try THIS list tomorrow. What do Yo think?

Isn't Lone Wolf a Unique card?

Yea right Thats why THIS is list on board to playtest today;

Predator (3), Emperor Palpatine (8), Emperor Palpatine (8), Ysanne Isard (4), Engine Upgrade (4)

Countess Ryad (37) - TIE Defender

That looks fun.

After today when i receive 1blinded pilot when i wanted to kill enemy ship and won. i made some changes and i won 3 times in row;

-predator so i Have 3 points

+determination so we Have protection

+seismic charges. When i saw face my opp when his 3aces get hit...pricelessss

in another hand...Ryad with 4 green, evede from title, eye from action, Lone wolf, palpatine....immortal. Each game i finished with Ryad with no dmg because they focused on Decimator but my Ryad hit from 2-3 range and put out one ship. When dexi die she was alone against fen rau in one game and ywing with tlt inanother game but his tlt against my 4dice, Lone wolf, evede and eye ....0hit after 4 rounds xD my Ryad slaughter every time ;-))

Ryad is amazing, glad your enjoying using her :)

I had a great time tonight with a good Kenkirk/Kylo shuttle build tonight. But afterwards had a think about ways of getting more damage out of the Decimator. Bear with me here as it utilises Expose. No don't go, read on!

Upsilon-class Shuttle: · Kylo Ren (34)
Trick Shot (0)
Fire Control System (2)
· Rebel Captive (3)
Systems officer (2)
· Kylo Ren's Shuttle (2)
Pattern Analyzer (2)

VT-49 Decimator: · Captain Oicunn (42)
Expose (4)
· Experimental Interface (3)
· General Hux (5)
Inspiring Recruit (1)
-- TOTAL ------- 100p. --

Keep both ships close by. Move with Oicunn, if he bumps, yay free damage. If not, he exposes, then experimental interfaces to Hux, so he is now rolling 4 Dice with a focus (and if he spends a focus one hit result in unblockable). Then Kylo dials in a green and ends near him so Oicunn gets a target lock from systems officer, and then Oicunn unleashes hell. Kylo gets a TL from FCS to use next round and also has the focus from Hux.

If the shuttle gets shot, the attacker gets a stress and ISYTDS and any shops at range one are also at risk of getting a stress.

Next turn Oicunn does a green removing all stress. It's foolproof I tell you!

Here you Have DD -dance Decimator

Wynalazek (100)

Major Stridan (44) - Upsilon-class Shuttle

Captain Oicunn (56) - VT-49 Decimator
Expert Handling (2), BoShek (2), Darth Vader (3), Intelligence Agent (1), Dauntless (2), Engine Upgrade (4)

a lot of option, many move spot. But i felt in love for deci Ryad for nie and i am thinking to play on kenkirk as defffDeciRyad or AggresiveDeciRyad;

OfensywnyDeciRyad (100)

Countess Ryad (37) - TIE Defender
Lone Wolf (2), TIE/x7 (-2), Stealth Device (3)

Rear Admiral Chiraneau (63) - VT-49 Decimator
Veteran Instincts (1), Hotshot Co-pilot (4), Gunner (5), Kylo Ren (3), Engine Upgrade (4)

(kylo or vader)

Was looking to get some feedback on a few lists I'd like to try, one if them is a bit of silly fun, the other a bit less so.

The first makes it so my Decimator is rolling 4-5 dice, hopefully with one of them being unblockable, potentially with a target lock from coordinate (I'd experimental interface off of that ideally). Inspiring Recruit can clear both stress tokens. Oicunn is the pilot as he's the cheapest one with an EPT. His ability is decent too.

The shuttle here can do a really wide 180(ish) for just one stress and acts as a negative target to shoot/a good support for the Decimator.

Upsilon-class Shuttle: · Kylo Ren (34)
Daredevil (3)
Fire Control System (2)
Engine Upgrade (4)
Pattern Analyzer (2)

VT-49 Decimator: · Captain Oicunn (42)
Expose (4)
· Experimental Interface (3)
· General Hux (5)
Inspiring Recruit (1)

The second one is looking to be a bit more of a toolbox list. The Decimator gets to reroll attack Dice, even if blocked, and can vader against aces.

Wampa is a nuisance mostly and doesn't bother some ships, but others he can be a terror against, but yeah, he's largely a distraction.

The shuttle is there to support with coordinate and lay down some heavy fire, and hopefully try and turn around whilst enemy ships tangle with the Decimator. I suppose the question is whether it's worth taking Wampa at all and instead changing the Decimator to RAC with Gunner etc. I'm thinking probably, but I was really wanting a 3 ship list :(

VT-49 Decimator: · Captain Oicunn (42)
Predator (3)
· Darth Vader (3)

TIE Fighter: · "Wampa" (14)

Upsilon-class Shuttle: · Kylo Ren (34)
Adaptability (Increase) (0)
Fire Control System (2)
Pattern Analyzer (2)

Hah, that post is over a year old XD

Dredging this up following the release of Wave 11. A friend had suggested running TLT Agressors with Decimator and... It actually seems like it could be really good.

With Dauntless, Hux and Inspiring Recruit zip can ram for damage and still trigger Hux. I'd put fanatical devotion on Oicunn as he's not rolling Defence Dice, and give the Agressors a focus each. The Agressors would likely focus, which they could use on both TLT attacks or one on TLT one on defence. Against things woth low agility, such as Nym, there's a good chance I can remove them in the second round. There might be room for a better setup though?
