So I think I found a neat little focus combo with manaroo and whoever you want to run with him, not sure if this had been discussed before. Manaroo passes his tokens to friendly ship of choice. So if you use the mindlink ept with him, and recon specialist, it should work like this:

Manaroo focuses, ship b gets a focus token and recon specialist gives manaroo a second focus, then use manaroo's ability to pass your two focus tokens to ship b, mindlink activates, manaroo Gets a focus token from mindlink, then recon specialist gives him a second, so now both ships are at least double focused

Seems cool and let me know if I'm wrong on how this works, a great build that inspired this us manaroo and Gonk Boba

Two points free to do what you want with. Like a bomb or tractor beam or whatever you want.

I like this because with fet, I just want to boost or gonk, so this combo really frees his actions up, and keeps him focus strong

Just don't do red moves! Lol, or get hit by a stress bot lol

Recon Specialist only triggers on Focus actions, so she'd only get one token from the combo.

It's still pretty good, though.

Manaroo is a she and she's Dengar's fiancé (at least in the bounty hunter trilogy) though wookipiedea's tale of her is a little different than the trilogy apparently.

Interesting though. Might be something to try out!

Explored the Manaroo Mindlink a little here.

Unless I'm misunderstanding how you're getting the 2nd focus on Manaroo the 2nd time round... Recon Specialist gives you a 2nd focus token when you take a focus action, and will not trigger when you gain the focus token from Mindlink. This means that Manaroo will only end up with a single focus. Also, I think you missed that when you take the initial focus action with Manaroo, the other Mindlink ship will gain a focus token - this means that when you pass over Manaroo's 2 tokens, the other ship will end up with 3 tokens

If you are mindlinked and pop some glitterstim, you are going to have a bad trip.

Ok I see, well that's still pretty good, I can replace recon specialist with k4 on manaroo. That's still pretty effective, and the glitterstim thing is for when your stressed anyway but running into some big guns
