If a squadron attacks the objective ship does it benefit from the missions special rule. The wording would seem to indicate that it does, as nowhere on the card does it restrict the benefit to just ships.

It is the FIRST Ruling in "Errata", which is the FIRST section of the FAQ
It is NOT in Card Clarifications near the End...
So its SUPER EASY to miss.

Yep, that's exactly how I missed it. I'm slightly better at driving ships than I am at reading apparently.
