Cirdan/Theodred/Galdor - sideboard advice needed

By Davachido, in Strategy and deck-building

I've been trying out a Cirdan/Theodred/Galdor deck recently and it goes through quite a few of the encounters quite well (I haven't tried nightmare yet but I'm not sure it would fare favourably yet.)

It bases itself on the Noldor theme mostly with a few other things thrown in. It does well against quests that don't emphasize battle/siege early on and that's the advice I need. What kind of sideboard could people suggest to help it with HoN or quests that have a lot of enemies early? If I get a turn or two to set up the deck does fine, some of the quests that throw enemies at you with low engagement costs really quickly like battle of the five armies or most of HoN cycle the deck sort of falls flat and I'm not sure what to add to change it up.

Well so far against Peril in Pelargir and Battle of the five armies, I've tried Beregond (taking out Galdor + lore) and a few readying effects or the twins (taking out Galdor +lore/Theodred) though each set slows down the deck quite a bit without the presence of lore. Even then it only clutches out the first few turns to get piled on later by too many enemies.

I mostly play this deck solo but I've tried backing it up with a tactics deck, two handed, then it moves along fairly smoothly against fast enemy encounters however I do want to get some way to work in some cards to swap out for those encounters.

Does anyone have any ideas? I haven't tried removing Cirdan but then I'd lose to the sea and Glorfindel who are both very useful as far as the deck goes.

Yeah, I tried Cirdan/Theodred/Galdor against Raid on the Grey Havens and it didn't go pretty, too slow to get going. Also, I feel torn between trying to get out high cost allies to use with Narya and using the new Noldor allies...

I also find myself stuck in weird positions where I want to use Galdor's draw six ability but I can't get all the way down to 0 cards..

Raid is probably not the best place to test the deck. The best Noldor deck I've found that works solo is Arwen/Elrohir/Elladan. I've already played a lot with Arwen/Cirdan/Erestor, I think I'll go Cirdan/Erestor/Galdor next...
