Very close, normally in France, we get the waves at the same time than the US.

Based on nothing but the fact that RPG dice are shipping, I've been expecting either the 3rd or the 10th of March for release.
I'm hoping for the 3rd, as that would allow Miniature Market to ship my order to me in time for my FLGS Store Championship.

NA releases are on Thursdays. So either they are changing that or the 7th is wrong or they aren't going for global simultaneous releases.

Very close when FFG have shipping issues (like with wave 7), up to two weeks otherwise.
On the other hand, the T-70 and the Tie/FO arrived late january/ early february. I still don't have mine.
I tweeted FFG and they weren't optimistic. I'd guess mid-to-late March in NA and probably closer to the end of March due to shipping issues.

I just saw that they tweeted in response to Punning Pundit's question about whether Wave 8 would be available for this birthday in a couple of weeks, and they said, "Maybe if you bat your eyelashes extra pretty."

Tomorrow or Thursday will probably seal the deal as to whether March 7th is reasonable. If it doesn't change to "Now Shipping" by that point, then it'll be at least another week.

FFG really needs to change their release dates and on the boat times. 4-6 weeks for on the boat time, I think only the Tanitive IV has made that time, and maybe the TFA core set because Disney made sure it got to stores on time. Everything else X-wing has been 8+ weeks. I don't trust distributor dates because they are wrong all the time. The distributor told our FLGS Wave 8 would be here 2 weeks ago. I laughed and said they have it mixed up with the Scum restock. Their reply was no we are sure it is Wave 8.
