The gang wants to emulate the Jedi order, remain a cohesive party and be guardians of peace and justice. Brought together on Spintir by the one advanced force user we know. Starting from scratch, perhaps in a thousand generations we'll have a temple on Coruscant. Still trying to figure the best way to play F&D on its own terms
Order of Romund
I did the same. After a few seasons in, they figured out that the Dark Time wont be that easy for rebuilding the order ![]()
I start my F&D campaigns differently depending on what group resource they choose, and the "theme" spirals out from there.
Start with a ship: You're all prisoners aboard a ship belonging to a bounty hunter that works for the Empire, but an ensuing firefight allows you the leeway to escape. From here, it's essentially an EotE game, trying to stay one step ahead of the Empire as you figure things out.
Start with a holocron: You are all connected in some way to an elderly scholar who, though not Force-sensitive themselves, helped you with your abilities. That scholar has passed away, and left you, among other things, a holocron in their will. From here, it's a treasure hunt, using the holocron as a map. Your first challenge: find the piece of the treasure on this planet and leave before the bad guys show up.
Start with a master: On a distant planet in the Outer Rim, you all learn under the tutelage of a pair of Force-users who escaped the Purge. This peace cannot last, however. This campaign usually starts as a flashback, before abruptly switching gears to the crash site of their escape ship, with one master dead and the other in hiding and unable to assist them directly.
F&D might seem like a very restrictive campaign setting, but there's actually a lot of ways you can go with it.
