What's the Furiated Savages Smashball Team's Homeworld?

By RodianClone, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

*Infuriated Savages

Do they have one? Is it unknown? Has the team only been mentioned by Han and Lando, so it is whatever we want it to be? If not, does anyone know if it has been said anywhere where this team comes from?

No one knows, so feel free to set the planet. :)

I like the name “Furiated Savages” better. Changing the word slightly lets you play interesting games with the meaning, and that helps it be a better touchpoint in a story.

Maybe Han and Lando have been mispronouncing it all this time? Or maybe they’re not true fans and they don’t know the difference? All sorts of interesting twists you might be able to come up with there on that little item.

what ever works for you. In my game I have a player who has an obsession for Smashball, and the Corellian Dread Naughts. I kind of think of it as Football, mixed with the Violence of Rollerball, and in Zero-G. Even had the players meet Ral Cipken who retired from Smashball (hall of fame player) and has a up and coming Heavy Jatz band that is going on Tour that includes only Smashball players such as Bogi Yerra, Cytobb, and Gou Lehrig

Thank you all for your inputs:) What do we really know about smashball? Are there any more known teams than we see on wookipedia? Do we know anything about leagues, rules or equipment? Is it still being played in imperial times?

Is it all between the lines and in the background, so smashball is whatever we want it to be? Maybe I`ll let my players define it if they`d like..

Don't forget Jo Backson, famous for his success in both Smashball and Blernsball!

It is all firmly in the "pull it out of my arse" department of the creative process. I invented positions as the "power up forward" and "Defensive Dive Man" or "inside Line blocker"

Honestly, even writers will just make up stuff when they need it. it is the fans who want to expand on it.

We know it is a sport, that has teams, it involves players and balls, and their might be smashing involved.

Got it! Mixed gender, violent sport that is similar to rugby/american football and volleyball with armor... When people say football, I assume they mean american football, judging buy the few pictures of smashball and what I have read.
