What if FFG had built wave 9 as a tie-in to Rogue One since it was originally scheduled for a May release & The Mouse is making them put it on hold since they pushed the movie release back until December?
Do we think FFG will push up a filler wave or will we have a release drought over the summer?
(Although, now that I think of it, a little time to catch up on my purchases would help my wallet quite a bit...)
Rouge One was always a December release. It was Episode VIII that was originally a May release

Can I ask why you are so concerned about wave 9 being delayed? We are still getting to grips with last wave( 3 K wings?) the Gozanti and Force awakens dropped a load more options in our lap and wave 8 will shake things up even more, plus Imperial veterans in the not too distant future!

Well we still don't know what all characters in the movie look like... It's possible we'll see a Bothan or two.

Never! Though that could be because I'll sit in the cinema and refuse to look at the screen rather than have another film wrecked by trailers that show far too much.
I'm totally miserable when it comes to trailers, especially as the release date of a film approaches and they get more spoiler-y.

There is a half second shot of the back of the head of an alien in the force awakens in Maz's place that I "think" looks like a bothan. Could be totally wrong though.
Other than that, no.
