What countries sell x wing miniatures in their native language? Who would be able to help me get my hands on some?

I remember seeing xwing core sets in German when i was in Berlin earlier this year. Pretty sure they were in german but i didnt pay them that much attention.

if you're interested in the cards-only, I could trade you some if you like (german). especially the uniques are quite unproblematic, as we all don't have a use for the 2nd+ soontir etc.

and there are plenty of shops who sell you the whole mini with all the cards (and the ship-tiles)

X wing in Spain, good health and growing

My mortal enemy ordered a Firespray from France when they were in short supply in the UK a while back. Hilarity ensued when it arrived, and continues to this day.

Heidelberger, the German distributor, translates everything. Even things that are pretty stupid, here are some highlights:

• Howlrunner = Kreischläufer
• Whisper = Geflüster
• Deathrain = Todesregen

Some names that really didn't need translation. Interestingly enough, the Decimator is just that, no translation there, but they actually started translating X-Wing and TIE Fighter to X-Flügler and TIE-Jäger when Disney took over, meaning that some of my dials and pilot cards still are English (just the ship name), while others are now German.

Other weird things in the German translation: "Fel's Wrath" is not translated. The TIE Defender is called "TIE Jagdbomber", basicaly TIE Fighterbomber - that just sounds stupid!

don't forget the new Tie-Turbojäger. ... ...

I was so confused as to what that was supposed to be when I unboxed my Gonzanti with the docking clamps! Thats the Advanced btw, for those who are wondering.

yeah, like: NO SENSE AT ALL @advanced / turbojäger (which literally is a "turbo-hunter/fighter(in the fighterplane-sense)", for those wondering ;-)
