I can't wait for my Scum B-Wings. Except both Zuckuss and 4-L0M are really enticing to run as opposed to basically just Keyan (although Nera should be getting a nice Chimpy bonus if she doesn't need crew).
I really want the G-1A generic costs so I can start proxying the PS3 FCS G-1As.
4LOM is awesome. Take care not to overspend, because it's essentially a B-wing. If you're not careful, you'll lose it pretty fast. But like I said, 4LOM is wonderfully trolly and Zuckuss can pack a wallop.
I'm pretty sure the PS 5 have an EPT. You can just barely see the edge of the symbol in the preview. Its the same distance on the bar as Zuckuss who has one. I think they'll be 25 points.

Its a B-wing, but it does have evade, crew (naturally), and the illicit slot. I'd trade those for 2 torp slots any day.
Its also a bit quicker with a white 4 straight.

I'm really excited for trying to run Zuckuss and 4-L0M simultaneously. I think 4-L0M can make great use out of FCS, Gonk, EI, and then maybe a cheap EPT like Crackshot or Juke.
Really, really, really, REALLY looking forward to Wave 8 now. Can't wait to get the Mist Hunter and Punishing One on the table.

The build I was messing with is 4-LOM ptl, adv sensors, EU base. A little unoriginal but I love that setup on farlander. Might have to rethink that now though.

This is a little comical to me, but not because I don't like the list. It's because I laugh when I picture a Gonk Droid in the seat behind the pilot.
I think you can run a pretty legit 4lom with just rage and advanced sensors. Run that with zuckuss carrying juke and dengar (and maybe advanced sensors) then whatever other ship you want with the remaining 33-36 points. Feels like there are some value builds as long as you don't pile points too hard.

With Zuckuss' ability I feel like there's a lot of ways to run things. I like AS+Juke because if your opponent doesn't have that Focus token you can feel a little more secure in upping the dice and hoping to lay down some hits.

In combat, Gonk can give you 1 shield back per round in exchange for an action (let's assume you have enough tokens for now). Evade gives you the same damage mitigation for an action without using the crew slot.

Do an action (boost, barrel roll or evade usually depending on situation), do a red maneuver (1 turn and k-turns are pretty awesome IMO), gain a focus, end up in range one of somebody, shoot them with a modified 4 dice attack (or tractor beam them into range 1/rocks if feasible) dump the stress on them, rinse and repeat. How does that sound ?

The reasons why I chose VI over PTL: there are quite a few, still common in my meta, large ships (being large means I can't tractor beam them into range 1 to drop stress on them) with a PS between 6 and 8: Brobots, Super Dash, RAC and Kenkirk. Having a PS of 8 gives me a pretty big advantage against them, as I get to move and do my action after then have moved. It of course also helps vs. small ships with PS between 6 and 8.

I've thought about the same ship list since the MIst Hunter preview and am still enamoured by it.
The loadout I am considering is a bit different though:

The reasoning:
You really need at least 1 guy in the squad able to take on aces. Zuckuss with VI and a reasonable bid can make sure you can either shoot first at a Whisper or move last vs a Soontir. And because you have a tractor beam, you could have some situations where you can pull someone out of range (or into range) of Guri. Palob stealing tokens from people you want to hit with Zuckuss is nice.
The threat of tractor beaming and then Ioning with Palob is also very nice, probably making people spend the tokens on the tractor beam and thus letting Guri punch damage through.
I still think it might not be the optimal build for the ships, so still trying to figure out the last few points.
- Initiative bid should preferably be 3 (so 97 max)
- Palob and Zuckuss survivability might be too low (cloaking device in there? Maybe cloak on Guri and Sensor Jammer on Zuckuss?)
- Is TLT maybe better than Ion in this setup? Or Dorsal Turret as a cheap option (Palob probably wants to get close in the action, probably dies fast but must grab a few critical tokens before succumbing. Giving Palob just Dorsal keeps him cheap and expendable)
- Should Guri be more offensive? (FCS instead of Jammer?)
