hull on tel is money. I can boost and still get two foci for dengar. debating on swaping out tactician for bossk

That tel build has some issues. recon spec and torpedoes are working against each other. Not to mention, without guidance chimps or predator, you have the age old ordnance problem: even if you get the TL you aren't likely to good damage with them unless you wait a turn for a focus token, and even then, a bad roll leaves you with a meh shot. And with Dengar shooting first, there will be times when shields are stripped so the plasma bonus doesn't come into play...

I feel like its just not punchy enough and the action economy will be a bit awkward at times, but I could be wrong...

Only if Dengar is free that turn to take a focus. And that's what I mean by awkward. Play it and see, but I just think there may be a bit of a strain on action economy. I think K4 droid would ultimately be better for Tel, and due to hull upgrade, Tel is not a good torpedo carrier. Or perhaps consider switching them around (Tel gets the title and Dengar carries the torpedoes to eliminate the action strain).
