Good weekend to you all, we have snow on the way which is outstanding. Wave 8 cannot be here fast enough as these will be the first new ship I have bought in a long time.

Happy Friday! We might actually get snow this Monday, as well. I won't hold my breath, though. Snow twice in the same year doesn't happen often.

I did get some games in last night and got to see at least one friend that hadn't been able to make it for about a month. There were also some new guys that came out to try it. It was a lot of fun. I played vs. one guy using my T-70's for the first time. He was new, but flew his Ties well. I also thought the Talon Roll was more like an S-loop and landed smack on an asteroid. Oh, and I forgot about Integrated Astromech!

Played another game with my Tie Bombers for the first time in a while vs. someone who hadn't played vs. Bombers ever. I managed to kill Tycho with missiles and bombs and then Wedge with Bombs. Farlander died shortly thereafter. We racked and restacked. It was much tougher for me this time as he knew my game. He had some horrible dice one round. Wedge with 4 red dice didn't land a single hit (without Focus). I had a harder time getting the TL and forced a huge pileup i the middle. I lost a Tie Bomber, but then dropped a ton of bombs. Wedge was taken down by laser fire, as well. I was beat up, but so was he. A B-wing with shields down lived through a Homing Missile shot due to poor rolling on my part and he made his one evade. Another Bomber down and we danced around. He forgot about my bombs and had picked the B-wing 2 K-turn. With Adv. Sensors, he tried to barrel roll away from it and even preferred going over an asteroid to losing his last hull point on the rock. He died on the rock and didn't even make it out of blast range of the asteroid. After that, his A-wing came for a pass at my Tie Bomber, but I floored it to force a bump from him. I dropped my last bomb and K-turned, but his A-wing couldn't get out of bomb range due to asteroids around and lost his last hull to it. Win for the Bombers!

I think next week I'll pull out the Heroes of Aturi Cluster for the gang.
