Tourney Software

By That One Guy, in X-Wing

Anyone have a favorite tournament organizing software out there? I found a few but links to them were broken, or seemed untrustworthy to me. I don't mind browser based ones either, all my organizing will be done between league nights.

Cryodex is what most people use. Integrates with Listjuggler as well.

Cryodex. I've also used the iOS app X-wing TO.

Uh... ok. Got the zip. Noooot sure what to do with all this.

This works on Macs, right?

Hey,

Yep, but it requires that Java be installed. From the project home page:

To install and run Cryodex, you need the following software:

  1. A Java Runtime, Java 7 or higher.
  2. The Cyrodex.jar file, as of this writing Cryodex 4.0.5 is available.

To run Cyrodex.

  1. Copy the Jar to a Directory on your hard drive.
  2. If using a file browser, Double Click the JAR file and it should launch.
  3. Alternatively from the command prompt: java -jar Cyrodex.jar

Already have Java. Computer still won't let me open it. Security restrictions.

If you are using a Mac you'll have to go into the Security Options for the mac and allow it to run the application. it is restricting it because it was download from the internet and not in its registry of apps.

Yeah I've done that before but for some reason it wasn't working this time

EDIT: OK actually I was thinking of the list of specific applications, I found a way around the problem.
