Rookies and chips for tea

Just a random idea I was toying with. 4 X-wing rookies with proton torpedoes and guidance chips. A decent alpha strike followed up by trying to kill the enemy before they die.

No room for IA unfortunately but with probably at least 12 hits from the protorps on turn 2, they should leave a mark.

Or come to the Scum side and load up 4 Kihraxz Fighters with either Assault or Homing Missiles and Guidance Chips. With Assault each hit damages all other ships in range 1... so really good for making them fly separately or hurting a swarm. With Homing they do not get to spend Evade tokens. Both rolling 4 Red Dice for more opportunities for Guidance Chips to have fun!

Khiraxz also have the glitterstim option, and can mix and match missiles to help make the points work out.

For example:

2 marauders w/ glitter, clusters & chimps = 26 x 2

2 marauders w/ concussion & chimps = 24 x 2

I don't think its super competitive, and its not really an alpha strike per se, but lots of damage potential if you can fire 'em all...
