Do y'all think that the Bantha will give the scum their first self sufficient list? I have my doubts but do you think it should be picked up anyway?

I think beast tamer will be super effective card on elite nexu and wampas.

While I think the Bantha is definitely something you can build a sweet list around, I still want to run Gideon and something in it there's too much to gain there that you can't any other way yet.

Well that extra move from Beast Tamer also gives you more smush as well.

The main thing with the Bantha to remember is once it finishes it's movement on other figures it can't move again that activation regardless of if you take another move action or have movement points left. So you could use beast tamer and a move action to get 12 movement points and run really far, end your movement on some figures and then use your special action trample. But you can't move any more in that activation.

That's why I think you really still need Gideon (who can move it from anywhere in line of sight and figures don't block line of sight to massive figures) or if you took it into an Imperial list and used officers to move it outside it's activation.

Also, the new command cards allow it to move again outside of its activation - jundland terror (x2) and opportunistic. Field tactician could also move it outside it's turn. And if you play it at the right time, close the gap would move it one more space at the beginning of a round and could trigger the stampede again!
