I think this was answered a long time ago. BUT, with the nerf for cheap Imperial Officers, can I give 2 movement points and then do it again with another and give a figure 4 movement points?

Certainly. Kind of.

As soon as a figure receives movement points outside of its activation, it must immediately spend them or lose them.

Officer 1 activates, gives 2 MP to figure X, figure X must immediately spend them or lose them. Officer 2 then activates, give another 2 MP to figure X, who must again immediately use them or lose them.

So, is really more like 2 and 2 instead of 4.

However, the officers have to be in range (2 spaces, right?) to give the order. If both officers are behind the figure, the first orders him to move forward and that takes him out of range of the second officer, the second officer would himself need to move before he could tell the figure to move a second time. And there may be lots of reasons why you wouldn't want the officer to move himself.
