Kilik E

By darklogos, in UFS Rules Q & A

If i use Kilik's E can I get rid of attacks that were previously played in the card pool? If so would the cost be their printed speed or their enhanced speed at the time? Also if I do this would it negate the combo effect?

Speed/Damage/etc. returns to printed after an attack resolves unless there is a continuous ability modifying it (FREX Feeling of Friendship) or the enhance used specifies a longer duration.

So would something like Caporia Style effect the speed of a kick even after the enhance?

You mean after the attack has resolved? Yes. Because it specifies for the rest of the turn.

Ok. Let me make sure I got everything right. If I use Kilik after the attack has resovled and damage has been dealt or not it is the printed speed to pop the attack. In the case of a continual speed pump that is active I have to commit printed value plus the continual speed buff value.

Correct.

Just bear in mind that if you are worried about combo chains and attacks you could just discard their current attack from the card pool, negating the attack itself, which saves you from taking damage and stops combos quite nicely.

The issue is the first enhance that your opponent gets before you do. If they speed pump first enhance you have to commit more to pop the card. If you are concerned about combo's then you just pop the card later so you commit less.
