Tournament TIE Defender with 2 FOs for max damage

By killakan, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Need help before a tournament, what needs to happen?

Rexler Brath

  • Predator
  • Proton rockets
  • Heavy Laser Cannon
  • Hull Upgrade

"Zeta Ace"

  • Push The Limit

"Omega Ace"

  • Push The Limit
  • Hull Upgrade

Please avoid acronyms because I do not understand half of it.

I would advise you trade "Omega Ace" for "Omega Leader".

Should be fun!

Don't have Omega Leader.

What options do you have then, because Omega Leader is pretty much top dog of the TIE/FO pilots.

Drop the proton rockets to give zeta ace a hull upgrade too. If you haven't got a 3rd hull upgrade, than either leave it as is or drop zeta ace for epsilon leader w/ push the limit + weapon guidance.

Do you want a list of all my expansions?

Imps: TIE Defender,Imp Aces, Both Cores, Slave 1

Rebs: Reb Aces, A-wing, Y-Wing, T-70 X-wing, Both Cores, Falcon

And that is all I got.

Maybe swap Proton Rockets on Rex for Weapon Guidance on Zeta and a point for initiative. It will make Zeta's weapons more likely to land damage.

Done.

I feel like once the Imperial Veterans expansion releases, and if you ever get a chance to pick up an expansion pack to get the Omega Leader Tie F/O, this list could be nasty. Not possible for a few months, but I think I'm going to take your list and try it like this once it is available:

Rexler Brath (46)

Ion Cannon

Predator

Tie/D Title

Hull Upgrade

Omega Leader (27)

Push the Limit

Hull Upgrade

Omega Ace (27)

Push the Limit

Shield Upgrade

I'm really digging this list idea, and will try to get a casual game in with it to see how it would work out.

If you buy the TIE/FO set for Omega Leader, he REALLY wants the Juke/Comm Relay that comes in the set, and stealth device if you can find the points.

I would review Biophysical's battle report about his Defender, 2 /FO list as performs well. I myself have had good success with 2 26 point /FO's in Omega Leader with Juke/Relay, and Zeta Leader with Predator/Relay. This would leave you 48 points to beef up Brath however you desire.

after seeing this, i think ive changed my list for my local Store Championship (was going to run my first rebel list ever Poe wedge stresshog) but...

Vessery

VI

Omega Leader

Juke

Comms

Vader

Predator

title ATC

Engine Upgrade

Im hoping that vader is enough of a threat to allow vessery to get in some very real damage while OL just does what he does, 'weak' to TLT's but not really because of the amount of damage that can be threatened any given turn by all three.
