I think he designed Stay On Target, but I can't remember if he designed others.
Boba Fett Crew
No his are Stay on Target and (apparently) Boba Fett (crew)
Dash Rendar (crew) was designed by another winner (can't recall his name)
So if heaver designed this card, will he now play scum at worlds? Also, what other card(s) has he designed for wining worlds?
Stay on target, Fett and I guess we will see his next card in 2017/2018. When wave 9 hits.
Oh, hello boba Fett... Oh no! You took off my HLC on my outrider! Now Dash Rendar can't shoot! Oh well, I hope you like a barrel-rolling-blocker that doesn't care about obstacles...muwahahaha...
Sure you can shoot with Dash if you take the HLC off of the Outrider.
The title reads:
While you have a <cannon> Upgrade card equipped, you cannot perform primary weapon attacks and you may perform <cannon> secondary weapon attacks against ships outside your firing arc.
Take away the cannon and you fall back on your primary weapon.
Hmm, if only Imperials could take Boba fett crew... Vader crew + Boba crew would really have a nice synergy as the two most bad-ass movie villains.
I love Boba as much as the next man, but would you really say he's one of the most bad-arse villains in the films? More bad-arse than Tarkin (who bosses Vader around and has a Death Star) or the Emporer (who bosses Vader around, has a Death Star, thrashes the hero with lightening from his fingertips)? What does Fett do? Follow the Falcon and tell Vader where it went, that's pretty much it. That and have cool armour and a cool ship.
I think the obvious combo here will be Advanced Homing Missiles + Boba Fett crew. Shields, who cares? ![]()

He Took A Level In Badass in non-film media and otherwise looks pretty **** cool. So "in the films" may not work so much, but otherwise, yes, he is the most badass bounty hunter of all Star Wars time...
From the movies Fett disentigrates people. I assume bounties he was paid for. They took his word, that says a lot.

I'll have to take your word for that, I've never been into the EU, but the quote was "bad-ass movie villain". Anyway, is Dengar not more bad-arse? FFG seem to think so, giving him better pilot skill and abilities. Actually, that's only in X-Wing, in Armada and Imperial Assault Fett is better. Make up your minds FFG!

Anyone can disintegrate somebody!
I think Boba crew is going to do something funny to people when it comes out. I think people will kit it with the dream of just getting that one target across the board with it and no one else. I think they'll chase Dash, Soontir or whoever with the "trick" they had planned to land boba, and it'll make them predicatable and give you a chance to guess their moves.
Boba to me seems like a card to have in your pocket on a ship with the ability to comfortably land a crit (mangler, proton torp, calculation, marksmanship) and just keep it, make your opponent weary. Then, the one time later game or the lucky shot that you get on a high priority target, you flip. It's like how I use Crackshot on Brobots, and it's worked for me.

Well, Dengar was the better pilot, a rival to Han. Boba is more of an all around skilled and dangerous man.

Why's Boba better in Armada then, I wonder. No consistency, tsk!

I think the problem is, a crew card isn't really a thing you can afford to keep in your pocket unless it's a YV. If you're using a firespray or HWK or something like that, you're trying to leverage your crew slot into an every-turn kinda thing, like k4, dengar, recspec, etc.
Then maybe the ship you're putting it on isn't right.
I'd put it in the pocket of a YV or of a Contract Scout U-boat. Both really don't need the crew slot
A torpedo boat can actually get a lot out of a crew slot. K4 is great on one of those things.
The YV, yeah, though bossk/gunner/x where x is zuckuss or tactician is really potent for an every-turn thing.
K4 on torp boats is redundant with the deadeye + r4 combo and far more predictable

Yeah, Im of the mindset of Fickle. Boba will add an element of control to your YV or Torp boat because it'll bring the fear of "maybe" to your enemy. For one point it fights truly with Zuckuss, IA, and 4-Lom. Two of those give negatives for a good offensive punch that is dependant on high token/high evade targets, the other is best for a high PS. I'd argue that Boba is th best jack of all trades 1pt crew to bring, good against everything but a generic swarm.
I think the real unique part about Fett's crew card is that you get one shot. So determining what upgrade to get rid of will be critical. I can see some automatic ones, like Palpatine, but there will be some hard decisions to make...
I see what you did there...
I just had a very fun thought:
Mandalorian Mercenary (41) - Firespray-31
Crack Shot (1), Boba Fett (1), Adv. Homing Missiles (3), Slave I (0), Munitions Failsafe (1)
This could be a very fun way to play Boba!
Surely if you take the Slave 1 title you'd take Extra Munitions? Yeah only one Boba/Missile combo, but you still get another face-up card for a point cheaper.
