there's nothing to stop you from regenerating more than one shield. Currently I think it's only EI, but it would allow to get back two shields. So, first turn inflight pick up two extra tokens to use later in game. It's like he's really a 5/6.

Doesn't work. You can't perform the same action twice in one turn, so can only charge or regen 1 at at time (or charge 1 then regen it since they're two different actions)
