Man dengar with r5p8 PWT and ion torps can be a whirlwind. He could potentially hit every ship in the enemy fleet and probably kill/maim/cripple multiples.

Yeah the PWT is going to be nice but you if you can fly him like a jouster he'll be deadly.

But that's only if you can actually keep something in your front arc, which with a PS9, barrel roll and white Sloop is going to be very tricky....

he probably could boost; roll all over the place (just not over obstacles)

the main difference with Dash is that Dengar'll joust your face off, and can go far more places after PTLing thanks to the jumpy dial + unhinged

he's also very slightly cheaper than super dash (58) at ps 9 with no doughnut hole, but also no HLC or obstacle ignoring

Ironcially, while they swapped out the flight instructor on tel the imahge now shows him with a shield upgrade instead of a hull upgrade

He'll negate damage fairly well actually, and Dengar has the same action bar that Dash does. Focus, TL and Barrel Roll. Only thing Dash can do is ignore rocks.

Dengar has similar stats to Dash, a IMO better special ability. Plus he has PS9 vs PS7, but costs 3 points less. So is 12 points for a 3 dice PWT really that much worse than a 7 point HLC with a range 1 donut hole?

Anyone think they might have to say that titles can't be removed by Boba?

Anyhow, between Bobba card and R5P8, this upgrade pretty much makes the Imperial Palp+Aces build obsolete.
