I love the art for the aliens that we've seen, and I love hearing the names of Locust and Magician, as well as the "classic" powers of Fungus, Deuce and Sniveler.

But I'm dying to know - can we expect the return of other classic aliens such as Disease, Empath, Prophet, and Filth (the art on FFG's homepage sure looks like it could be Filth)? Will Eon's original Doppelganger return, will it be Mayfair's awful version, or an even newer FFG version? Skeptic doesn't get a lot of love, but could it maybe - oh please - just MAYBE be one of the 20? Could I even dare to hope that Patrick Riley's version of Ethic -- an improved version that does NOT need Lucre -- has returned?

How about some more awesome homebrews that have never been published? Is Magician Gerald Katz's Conjurer? (If so, that is most excellent.) Locust sounds cool -- does it bear a resemblance to some old idea of Cedric Chin's or is it a totally new power that has sprung fully-formed from the head of Kevin Wilson? Will Cedric Chin's most excellent Pisces (a power that allows you to "Go Fish" by asking for a card from an opponent, and if they have it, you receive it) show up? How about Jack Reda's simple, straightforward, and powerful Envy (an amazing power)? How about Wastrel, a Mayfair idea for an alien that got re-worked into a game action (Punt, which allowed you to discard your hand at the price of skipping your turn)?

Will any of the other CE Online aliens be making an appearance? It's not possible to make Dork and Brat board game aliens - is it?

I expect we'll get a little bit of column A and column B, etc. I hope to see Skeptic in an expansion. It's a subtle but powerful when played right (one of my all time favorites). It's the anti-Gambler. You have to really be able to bluff people, and it's a very "social" alien. I've won so many encounters with it when I had a crappy hand, because people just never knew what to expect from me.

I don't think Magician is Gerald's Conjurer power (something new and just as cool, I believe).

Skeptic rules. Possibly my favorite power.

I, too, am wondering what the hold-up is with alien announcements. I had assumed we'd be getting one once a week like before the full release (or did I imagine that?). Bring it on, FFG! Us homebrew fanatics are holding our breath to see whose might have made it in this time.

Yay, Sniveler! Also, Rifts? Didn't expect a new card type! Can't quite read enough of it to know how these cards differ from artifacts though. Looks like it can be played just like an artifact would be played but also might trigger a separate effect when stolen from your hand.

Also, "see you in a couple weeks"? Odd that they'd space out the previews so much. I guess the expansion may not be coming out till the tail end of winter after all? I hope not.
