Force Awakens Han, Poe/ Miranda

By Higgo, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Just looking for some thoughts. I like the thematic idea of a "force awakens list" with han and poe.

So we'd have fat han with gunner, c3po, predator, MF title, EU (62)

and Poe with r5 p9, AT, VI (37 and room to change to R2D2 if I want)

but... Miranda with a tactician TLT seems a lot more multifunctional but then I end up with 2 turrets which I'm not overly keen on.

Any opinions or glaring weaknesses you'd be worried about?

I think Gunner and Predator on Han is overkill. One or the other would save you some points and open up either an EPT or crew slot.

I played this list not long ago in a tournament, only difference was that I took Lonewolf on Poe instead of VI.

It did okay, I finished first. But be aware that it is highly vulnerable to concentrated fire. So if list with a high ship count is common in your area, Han might go down pretty fast. And there is not a lot of firepower too, so every shot must count. Other than that, I had a very fun day with the list. I'm not keen on flying ship with turret, but like you, the Force Awaken theme begged me to at least try it once.

After a little more research I now understand why you would put gunner on Han.
