Is this worth pursuing? I've almost convinced myself but its late..

Palob- tlt, tactician

3 x black sun aces- lightning reflexes.

Everyone is ps 5. The concept is pretty straight forward, bring palob in on a flank threatening tactician while keeping tokens honest. Meanwhile the Kihraxz fighters fly in tandem to joust. Afterwards the pull their s-loops/k-turns/ t-rolls to keep pressure up. I really like the kihraxz model and after testing it a bit I really like their dial as well. But do I purchase more? And whats the deal with BSAs + reflexes? It feels like a **** solid combo but I haven't seen anything on it.

Any other ideas out there? I was tinkering with xizor but he really cuts into the 3rd ship basically downgrading it to kaa'to with crack.

I have been married to PS alpha strikes over the last 4 or 5 months and have beat MANY Palob squads. I am not impressed with the khiraxz outside of Talonbane in extreme corner case builds. Laeto with crack is really valuable IMO, he performs above his points quite frequently, and frankly at 23 points he outshines your Khiraxz dudes.

His PS and the potential for an opportunity kill by aces is a significant problem for your build... But one more hull is not likely stopping a similar fate from befalling one of your Khiraxz.

I've been looking at kaato actually as a way to squeeze some points over the 3rd khiraxz. Thing is his PS is exactly the same as a BSA (ps 5) and while he does hit harder 1 turn at range 2-3 its just that and the BSAs dial is superior. So have you used a list with multiple khiraxz? Is crack just superior to the ability to k turn s loop or t roll one time?

Yes crack is superior. Removing ships from the board is about the most powerful ability out there. 3 black sun aces with glitter and crack can fly into 2 of Poe target lock and glitter, then proceed to pick him up. Same for Vader typically. Not sure if conaistent enough to hit the magic 8 hull and shields, but I think so.

I agree crack is phenomenal. Guess I was just looking to make something different that could still win games but this is outside my experience. Meh I'll stick to TBC for kihraxz for now and hold off on the purchases. Thanks.
