Acrylic range rulers

By fiddybucks, in Star Wars: Armada

Has anyone used these recreator rulers? Do they arrive flat? Many/most of the acrylic rulers I've used are curved, making measurements extremely difficult.

Also, how close are their segments to the original rulers?

The Wargaming Industries are $12 for a set of 6? Are they Acrylic or cardboard?

^^^^^^^^^^ excellent stuff. Litko is expensive but worth it.

Notice in one of your videos you had a range one ruler. Excellent idea. Can't believe I didn't think of it.

Thanks.

I like the rulers from Wargaming Industries myself...

Absolutely zero information on any of their products?

  • Mats are made of what ...... paper, cotton, transparent aluminum???
  • Rulers are made of what ..... wood, acrylic, marble, unobtainium??

Are we just suppose to guess?

The rulers and tokens I have are acrylic.

The mat, that I won at a tournament, is a vinyl product. Similar to the GF9 material but less slick, though it scratches a bit like the GF9 mat.

No worries! :) I agree they need a LOT MORE product description. However templates and tokens are pretty good.

I love my Litko ones as well, but i'm really hurting for shorter than full rulers. hopefully the ones I ordered from that place will do the trick.

Several companies have things they do best. I'm in the process of changing over my squadrons to CorSec sliders. After looking at the others I am still satisfied with my Cog'o'two 3 piece range rulers. Thinking of buying a second set to tell the truth

Can you share a pic of the CorSec sliders? I was considering them but I have so many squadrons...

I will state that since this review I am not very happy about the sliders being so thick. I have tried to contact the company but have not received a reply about them.

I think based on this i'm going to pass unless I am replacing something lost or broken.

FFG has a range ruler and squad speed ruler in the newest tourney kit

I want someone to make a movement template with magnets on the segments so you can break it down.

I have them and they are so warped they are unusable.

Just ordered a litko set, I'll let you know how they fair

War Gaming Industries, has a nice imperial gray set I use, it's got close/medium/long range as well as distance 1/3/5 for fighters.

I bought two sets from Litko and they see pretty good (green and red)

Thraug, next time I run into you we have to compare rulers (haw haw haw) because mine absolutely do not have this problem. Maybe TO hooked me up with the good set. (It's still habit for me to have one only and flip it over for the other that I often just grab the cardboard rule anyhow.)

That's wicked disappointing cause the art on them is awesome
