Unexpected feeling when selling hobby stuff

Well if you're named "Jango" you can Always clain you were named after the character from the westerns ;)

My girlfriend has okayed my suggestions for when we have kids (eventually)

Mishra if it's a boy and Serra if it's a girl. (I wanted Urza and Mishra in case of twin boys but she shot that down.)

I'm not sure if it's just here in Australia, or a worldwide movement but it seems non-traditional are more common than not. 2 of my sister's 3 kids have names she made up. The only problem I foresee with these kinds of names is pronunciation. I actually like your choice in names as they're easy to pronounce, speak a bit about the parents/family but not so unique that folk will be confused when they say their names.

Just some advice though from a guy that had his first kid yesterday. Your name will probably change when it comes time to apply them. It's a fun game when it's fantasy (like winning the lotto) but we found that when it was crunch time .. our tastes, names, etc changed a lot.

Congrats! What is it? Boy or girl?

Actually the reason my GF was ok with Mishra/ Serra was becuz they are very close to Micha and Sarah wich are normal names. That and the fact that I threathened to name our first born "Claudius Anihillius Maximus" ;)

Thank you. Girl. We decided on Norah.

We had differing ideas of the spelling though. I wanted Nora. We decided to hand it to fate and made the following deal.

Vancouver Canucks (my team) played Ottawa Senators (her team) on Feb 24th. The outcome of that game determines the spelling of the name. Ottawa win: Norah. Vancourver win: Nora

Caveat: If she's born on the leap year day (which is something I wanted and my wife didn't) we go with my wife's spelling.

Well, Vancouver won ..

.. but then she popped out on the 29th.

I've had on and off ideas on what to do with my Chaos Marine sprues. The army is mostly defunct and GW does a **** job at any interest in upgrading their fodder armies, so I have a variety of sh*tty choices yo make spikey mutants in power armor.

I'm deciding on what I can make, and then either try to sell off what's left to buy a few X-wing upgrades, or just finally go to the range and shoot the ever living **** out of them. That is unlikely, as X-wing is the only thing left keeping me attached to Star Wars.

Ebay. Put it on ebay and if you get $10 than good on you.

During +/- 10 years I was a dedicated comic books reader. Marvel universe. X Men, Spider-Man... But I stopped buying them ( the IMAGE COMICS era ) and my proud colection transformed into a huge waste of space. I am negotiating the sell of 1800 comics. As a whole, there are good ones, and a lot of bad ones. About 600 euros, I have plenty of time, no need to hurry. I wanted 900, but the comic world is hard.beaten in my area. So I will sell them in a near future.

Once they were a extremely valuable goods to me. Now...only a waste of space, 20+ years later.

Beware, my little plastic ships. Perhaps in 2046 I will sell you all in exchange of a protesic....limb. Yes, limb. Mr Studd.

I sometimes have nostalgia for back when my buddies and I were playing in heroclix tournaments. Then I remember I spent way too much on it in so short of a time and the only reason I don't play anymore is because all my friends stopped playing.

I've sold off the majority of my expensive pieces and still have over 400 figures I want to get rid of. I'd prefer them going all at once and it's been a challenge to get anyone locally interested in them.

I'm also considering selling my star wars lcg stuff... my friends don't have an interest in that either and I could use the funds to catch up with x-wing (which nearly everyone I know likes).
