Welcome to Onderon OOC thread.

By TheCosmicHospitaller, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

On a side note Tush is spending his down time dreaming of reading a book on becoming an Instructor... I'm sure those books will be available soon in the jungles of Onderon.

Thoughts:

1) I have video access behind the blast door - what is there?

2) are there blast doors I can close that would trap the dark troopers in the hallway they are in while leaving us free to get back down to the main corridor?

3) are there possibly shipping crates for the dark troopers - or manifests that would clue us to their droid nature?

4) what is in the hangar we are in that we can use/scavenge?

1) Nothing is there, and there are scanners that show blank.

2) Nope, but you hit a button that causes 4 restraining bolts to pop out.

3) It shows up on the computer screen. See 4) as well.

4) Crates of hydrospanners, screwdrivers, spare ammo clips, and 2 unopened crates that are extremely long, and are marked with a sticker that says droids.

Are the unopened crates large enough to potentially hold two more troopers?

Are the unopened crates large enough to potentially hold two more troopers?

Yes.

P.S. He,He,He.

So either we have a team of crack assault droids, or we are dead!

Is this about to become a very nasty "jack in the box" type scenario?

Possibly on the Bright side you have 4 "Restraining" Bolts.

Let's just hope they work...

Difficulty applying a restraining bolt? (I believe it's a mechanics skill check)

Sorry to be a heel, but I'm going to bow out. I didn't know before this because I hadn't tried it, but I'm not really into the intermittent nature of PbP. I prefer my game in concentrated doses.

May your blaster shots fly true, your restraining bolts stay attached, and your Wookiees remain uncombed.

;)

Sorry to hear that. But hope you had fun!

It's a simple check to apply them to the droids. But yes it's mechanics.

Are we down to 4 players? I don't want to post before someone else gets a chance

Droo still active, just waiting on the other side for things to kick off...

Just waiting for others.

Barada is set up for the combat as indicated in the last post. He'll be at range with his rifle, covering those attempting to use the restraining bolts.

I'm a little confused here Shadowguard Champion. You say: "Your only escape is going to be into the mountain side." I don't understand the description of the place. Could you perhaps describe it in more detail? If the others are pretty much standing over the crates, how can they hope to escape from the droids? I think we need a more detailed description of this place, the whole situation is very confusing, to say the least.

If you look at the map, you'll have to go into the mountain on which the landing pad and where the tunnel aforementioned are. Second the dark troopers are still booting up.

Do the restraining bolt work on these ones waking up?

Here is a slightly larger version of the map. I'm still lost. Are we in the bay where the Lambda is on the map? Where are the tunnels into the mountain.

You are in the bay where the Lambada is. The tunnel I made up for customization to the module.

Do the restraining bolt work on these ones waking up?

Yes.

One more question, to make sure I get this right. I assume the rest of the gang is in the shuttle bay. Barada is at medium/long range to the two troopers on the other side of the door. If Barada were to try to buy his guys time to react by shooting at the troopers once, would he then be able to get into the ventilation shaft again and rejoin his team, or would that be suicide?

I thought Droo was keeping watch on the two troopers from the corridor.

But I am also confused and could be mistaken...

Yes, he can do that but, be warned they might shoot up the tunnel after that.

Requiring several Coordination checks to avoid.

He's talking about the ones in the corridor.

OK, I think that would be my plan then. Barada will take a shot or two at the troopers by the door, hoping to draw their attention towards himself, giving his friends inside the bay a little more time to deal with the troopers in the boxes.

Would you like me to roll the Ranged (Heavy) check now, or will that wait until we enter structured time?

You can roll it now, Medium difficulty.
