Does anyone know of a source for X-Wing (base game) or Imperial Assault sized boxes? An added bonus would be if the boxes were of similar quality. I would really like my potential storage solutions to match the base game as closely as possible. I'm not worried so much about the coloration, but plain boxes are preferable.

I wouldn't have thought it would be difficult, but I'm having no luck with my searches.

Search SirWilli in this forum. He has a thread where he offers printable microhangers that are great for X-Wing (and Armada IIRC. Not sure about Imperial Assault or even Epic ships).

Just download, print on cardstock, fold, & gLue.

SirWillibald does amazing work, that's for certain.

But I don't want to spend my time making all those little boxes. It's not that I have a great many obligations on my time, but I'm clumsy enough that I'd end up gluing the box to one of the cats.. I'm considering going nuts and customizing some Battlefoam trays which is why I'm fixated on boxes of the same size.

Right now, I'm stuffing the IA and X-Wing box full of everything I can. The IA box is just about 100% full expansions (there might be enough room for the smuggler), and the X-Wing box is loaded with most of the additional materials (dials, cards, etc.) with most of the new ships going into the larger expansion boxes (Aces, Shuttle, etc.) inside the cardboard insert or behind the ships if there's enough room in the plastic.
