Mask of The Pirate Queen any good?

By unicornpuncher, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Not to necro my own thread, but if you are an amazon prime member you can get Mask of the Pirate Queen hella cheap right now!

Lead GM here for the multi-GM campaign RowdyOctopus is a part of. The group had an absolute blast with that 8 9 hour marathon of MotPQ. I pulled in plenty of the group's own subplots and changed several scenes:

Surprising Ally
Queen's Court

In our campaign, Black Sun has been a threat almost as great as the Empire. Our very first mission was a tussle with the Zann Consortium, so this adventure presented an opportunity to make amends for that and gain a new ally against Prince Xizor. Plus it was fun to spotlight the rogue gallery we've built up. Modules are what you make of them and for us, it was well worth it.

I've picked it up to use in our upcoming campaign. It won't be run til several sessions in, though. Should be perfect for the group, and could have some interesting consequences, depending on how they handle things.

Oh, yeah, I've watched those; I've become a huge fan of the Broker series! I highly recommend GMs/players new and old, watch them for both learning, entertainment and inspiration.

Also, I just checked and the super low price is gone now sadly, but it is still a pretty good deal they have going if you don't have it yet.

That Amazon price drop was crazy; thanks for pointing it out. I managed to snag a copy for cheap right before it jumped back up. I'm excited to read/play through it and weigh in.

I made the Queen's Cruiser bigger. The adventure makes it seem like the PCs can get lost in it with all the set piece encounters there are inside it. The Consular cruiser provided is tiny compared to that.
