BAH this is sort of killing my interest in even attending SCs.
I was looking forward to having something new to fly with/against. Don't know how interested I am in signing up for ~20+ more competitive games against TLT/Poe/Miranda/Stressbot/Vader/Soontir/Emperor/Brobots.
If the UK isn't likely to see Wave 8 before March/April, I shudder at the thought of when we might see them down here in the Antipodes...
Makes sense. With store championships running through February and March, releasing a meta-changing wave now would be an interesting decision. Holding it back until champs are over makes sense to me.
They released the Scum wave last year around the end of February. I don't think that is an issue.

I usually go by the old axiom of adding two months onto the end of FFG's estimated release date to get the actual release date. So when they said quarter four, I figured Wave 8 would be out around the end of February.
It turns out even I was too optimistic. Wow. There's not even a port strike to blame it on this year like when Wave 6 took forever.
