Just want other peoples opinion on Lord Hawthorne's Vicious Strike ability. Can it be used to recast spent tokens?

If an ability allows to work on spent tokens, it's clearly worded on the card. Otherwise it works only on unspent tokens

Looks like french rules are bad worded ?

Notice that it works ... as ONE action, so you can not use it along with your present combat action.

still Hawthorne is my hero. He defeats Mages as if they were made of paper with his dual strike
