The Shadows Mark

By killakan, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

WW-413 takes this opportunity to fire at the beast. After taking his time to aim, he launches a hail of blaster fire from his speeder bike, most miss to his dismay but one manages to hit the beast, causing it to run off and hide, clearly it does not want to fight anymore.

(OOC Fight is over unless you want to kill the thing and generate 3 conflict)

"Lead the way to your Lambda," says Lalam. "I gotta get me one of those auto-blasters," he mutters under his breath.

Larik borrows the comlink from Naught and hails group 1.

"When you get to the shuttle, bring it back to these coordinates. We found a guy that has a really nicely modified HWK-290 and a pair of headhunters he's willing to swap even up for the Lambda. Lama did a sweep on them and they appear clean. I took some measurements and there's plenty of room for Gupgup. There's no Ronto-sized refresher onboard, but I'm sure we can figure something out. See you in a bit."

to the collector

Excuse me, but is there a forge nearby?

Nope, but one can be bought and installed on your ship for 4000 credits.

to the group: well that stinks I do not have 4K can I please have some from you guys to buy a forge? Plus we can all use it to modify our weapons.

Larik raises an eybrow and slowly turn his head toward Lama, not even trying to mask his disbelief.

"I'm afraid all I can offer you is encouragement. Once I've known you for more than an hour and see you actually craft anything with this...material," he says gesturing to the scraps the shopkeeper sold the Kaminoan, "maybe then we can talk about a loan. Let's not forget the main goal here is to get to our mysterious new contact."

Larik turns and heads for the door, over his shoulder he offers his last thoughts on the matter.

"Feel free to ask everyone else when they get back with the Lambda, though. Not my place to tell others what to do with their credits."

to the group: well that stinks I do not have 4K can I please have some from you guys to buy a forge? Plus we can all use it to modify our weapons.

Lalam can't hear you, but he strikes you as a generous guy under that gruff exterior.

"This Gand must regretfully admit that the purchase of a speeder bike was expensive, and did not leave much in the way of credits left over. Perhaps Larik's advice regarding the group retrieving the Lambda will play out." Having said that, Naught turns impassively and follows Larik out of the shop.

I've been trained by mandolorian armour smiths. So I am decent. but if I can make some armour out of this stuff will you lend me some credits?

"I've not much to offer," Saladin says. "But perhaps we will find what you are looking for in due time. Hopefully, this journey will not lead us into the kind of trouble where heavy battle armor is necessary."

Saladin exits the store as well.

"Fine, Whatever." Lama says" Hey, Excuse me but can you put that forge on hold?"

Damnit, the Zabrek got to my good natured side, I'll offer 2000 instead.

Lama walks outside"Hey Larik can I borrow 325 credits? I'll try and get them back to you. the shopkeeper just lowered his price by 2K."

Naught glances at Larik before turning to Lama, "This Gand can advance you 150 credits if Larik can make up the difference."

Larik hears this and gets a gleam in his eye.

"Well, if he dropped his price by 2,000 already, my guess is he's got a bit more room to go. Maybe I can help. Wait out here."
He goes back into the shop and gets to work on the shop keeper.

"Look, that was really generous of you to drop the price of the forge for my friend, but sadly he's down to his last 1300 credits. I know you're a business man and I know how business works - my parents run a pretty bustling trading post on Espar - but we both know you got a lot of credits for that scrap metal you sold him. Can you work with him just a bit more?"

Group 1

WW-413 stops his speeder bike suddenly and calls for you to stop as well, "Now I know you guys have had a bad run in with the wildlife here, but from here until after we leave with the Lambda you won't kill or attack anything if you want to live. Trust me, you do not want to upset the natural setting here. Also, I would put on a happy emotion and suppress any fear or aggression you may have, an aura of friendship is needed to survive the Guardians Wrath. Khit Ne, you asked if I knew some Acklay, well you're right and their sentient, unlike the rest of their kind, apparently I crashed right into their home, which also happens to be their most holy site on the planet and center of all Force Activity on it as well, so when I say don't **** with anything, I mean it, don't **** with ANYTHING ! " He explains to the group and pulls out a Holo-Messenger and contacts the first group, whom he slipped Saladin a duplicate, "Are you guys with the trader?"

Group 2:

"Thanks for helping Larik."Lama say as he gets out his credits to pay for the forge after the dealer agrees to 1300 credits.

Group 2

Hmm, he relented a little easily, Larik thinks to himself. I hope that forge works right.

"You're welcome Lama. Like I said before, if nothing else I can offer support.

"Oh, and make sure you look that thing over really well before firing it up."

He hears WW-413's voice crackling through the comlink.

"Yeah, we're here. Just waiting on the rest of you to get here with the shuttle. You should try to get a move on though before Lama goes completely broke buying everything in here."

Group 1

Khit knows not to hang around, that Acklay wont hide for long, she gives Gup the hurry along and follows WW-413 into the bowls of the beast. As they move along Khit pipes up "WW-413 that name's a mouthful, you cant hang on to it for ever. You need a proper name, has anyone ever called you anything else?"

Group 1

No, it's the only name they gave me, what do you have in mind?

Group 2

You got a Holo-Messenger in your back pocket, I want to talk to the group over there.

Ah, WW may I call you that? Anyways we managed to get a pretty good deal on the ships: the HWK and 2 Z-95s, and I manged to acquire some scrap metal and with Larik's help acquire a forge. How are things on your end?

Well I'm going to meet my mentor and bring the my Acklay companion around as well as the Lambda. The shopkeep knows I have bonded with one so if I go only in his shop, my companion shall not be attacked, am I clear on that?

"Wale?"

You know an Acklay WW?
