Yes we'll know the signal if you tell us. So what is the signal?
The Shadows Mark
Larik makes a face.
"You know. The signal. The universal signal."
He sees a blank expression on Lama's face, makes a low whistle and shakes his head.
"You don't know the signal...do you?
"It's okay. Naught knows it. Watch her. Break If she does."
Ok, thanks.
"Break what?" Lama says
"No I am just kidding you." He says after a slight pause and some annoyed looks.
Larik looks at the Kaminoan, eyes squinting ever so slightly, and angles his head a bit.
"You and I are going to get along just fine Lama. Now, let's see what this old shyster has to offer."
And with that, the trio heads into the collector's shop, unaware of their Zabrak cohort sneaking up behind.

As you walk into the shop you see an old man in an old Imperial officers uniform. He greets you "Well hello, what can I do you for? You look like you need a star craft, come right this way," and he leads you to his starship lot in his backyard, Imperial craft of shuttle size and smaller are arranged neatly as you reach the back, there is only one hole in the line, and it is labeled "Lambda-Class T4-A Long Range Shuttle" When he brings you to the back there are only 3 freighters that can hold you, A broken down, on its last legs Action VI Transport, an average GAT-12H Skipray Blastboat, and a pristine and heavily modified HWK-290 Light Freighter with 2 Docking Clamps in between 2 Z-95-AF4 Headhunters
Edited by killakanIn a hushed voice:
The HWK-290 and Z-95s look like the best deal if we can get them together.
In a louder voice
Does the HWK and the 2 Z95s come as a pair?
"But of course, they come together, I used to be the pilot of that Particular HWK-290 and Lady and Tramp have saved my life on multiple occasions, you won't find a better HWK anywhere than the Rusty Mynock ," He announces, happily grinning.
"This Gand would expect ships like that to have some sentimental value, is there a reason for their sale?"
"I'm old and want to pass on my legacy before I die." He explains and then ponders for a moment, "I'll tell you what, you get me that scout trooper's Lambda and you get those three for free, how's that sound?"
Edited by killakan"It's a deal I believe, just throw in about 5K worth of metal.
Talking to the others:
In which case I can make some combat armor for whoever wants it. Probably about 4 suits.
Combat armor:
+1 soak,+1 defense, 4 encuberence, 1 Hp; Average mechanics check(I have a level one schematic.)
Edited by SHADOWGUARD CHAMPIONI believe that in order to make a deal we will need to inspect the ships up close.
Naught pitches her vocoder low so that only those next to her can hear. "Lama, this Gand appreciates what you are trying to do, but this is already an unbelievably good deal; making such exorbitant demands is bad form. I would suggest instead to haggle for a few spare parts to make additional modifications to the ships at most once the inspections confirm the ships are in good working order."
Fine, but I want to expiriment with more armor variants, so I'll pay him out of my funds.
to the dealer:
I'll pay you 2000 Credits for 3 kg material.
Edited by SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION"Done." the dealer proclaims " just take the material when you leave"
All right then, Here are the credits.
"I have to ask, though," Saladin says quietly to the group, "how many of us are capable pilots? A freighter is one thing, but two fighters are an added complication."
Edited by Blackbird888"Judging by the legends this Gand has read," Naught says wryly, "it would be astonishing if there were not several individuals here who have the talent, if not the training. "
I am a decent pilot, and decent at plotting courses.
Group 2
After letting his compatriots handle the negotiations to get a feel for their comfort level, Larik speaks up.
"Well, before we say everything's settled, I'm sure you won't mind if we inspect the Mynock and the headhunters, just to be sure they're everything you say they are and to make sure we've got room for everyone's stuff," he says to the dealer.
Then to his team:
"Let's not forget we need to figure out how to get some swoops and a Ronto in there. Lama, you mind doing the inspection for us? And Saladin, that's a valid concern, but since the headhunters will be docked with the ship, it's not like anybody even has to fly them if they don't want to. It'll give us flexibility and maybe even an advantage in some situations. I have a feeling we'll need all the advantages we can get."
I will inspect the ships in that case Larik.
Group 1
"It's an ambush!" yells Lalam. "By the Quay, what are these things? They look hungry..." He tries to get some distance, draws his blaster and fires.
Group 1
Gup rears at the sight of the hungry Acklay, stopping and turning to flee. But Khit takes control, calms the beast and prepares to find a way past this beast.
Lalam fires a volley of shots from his heavy pistol. He thinks he might have hit something important, but it's hard to tell. The Acklay flinches and steps back...right into the arc of WW-413.
