Most likely I'll be facing crackbots and I play as Local so init is for me. Looking for a decent counter with Scum, open to suggestions (no double IG please).

VI is still on the table as using IGC as a blocker might work better than shooting first and try to arc dodge with IGD.

Also considering trading IG for Drea and add Flechette Torps on her (with EM) and Xizor with AdS + PTL.

I feel that list you have is not ideal. IG88D really wants to have advanced sensors for maximum s-loop shenanigans (cuz boosting before dial reveal gives him a silly number of end positions). He's also missing autothrusters, which is so great for IGs...

Xizor however is great and at PS7 well suited for dealing with IGs. I personally am really a fan of AdS + PTL. Gives him the mobility to arc-dodge once his mooks are gone and 1v1, he should have no trouble killing an IG88.

The real trick is figuring out what to run with him. At 40 points, there's not a whole lot of good options specifically to deal with IGs. 3 Khiraxz comes to mind, although 2 crackbots can wreck them fairly quick. Only question is whether you can kill one before all 3 go down (Xizor can handle one, but not two by himself). Another option would be a pair of z-95s and a 36 (or less) point YV-666, or just go with 5 z-95s.

I really don't feel y-wings are a good choice here, since even with twin lasers, they don't hurt IGs particularly well, and double HLCs put them down very quick...

Other than high PS aces, the best counter for Brobots is stress. And when dealing with Glittercrack, the more HP the better.

If you have the Hound's Tooth, a simple Slaver [bossk, Gunner, Tactician] is exactly that for 38 points. It will put a real damper on any IG as well as any aces you run into.

Tap for 2 stress, then trail them until dead.

I'd drop the IG88-D for the Slaver personally.

The more I fly the 666, the more I like it. You have lots of options to slow it (full stop, dampeners, and self bumps). The stress it deals is so versatile. It definitely frees Xisor to hit hard early. Has more HP for Xisor to pass damage to.
