Can Medic specialisation 'heal' MG and mortar teams? Or do they only 'heal' back infantry figs (regular and elite)

Per p.44. "...may retrieve one regular infantry figure from the game box and place this figure in the healed squad (regardless of what figure type was destroyed prior to the healing). And p.45, "If there are no regular infantry figures available in the game box, a medic squad may not attempt to heal. So a squad with a mg/mortar that has been destroyed may be healed, but the mg/mortar would return from the hospital as a regular soldier (from the trauma of having been killed). Although resurrection is a miracle, you don't necessarily get to keep your old job.
