Bombing Run (118 Rebel squadron)

By Hawk007, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

So I decided on this list for a local tournament tomorrow. I like that I can always use all 7 squadrons due to that Raymus token. Having Nym attack off a Yavaris activation should improve his odds of discarding my opponents braces :) If anyone has any tweaks I'd love to hear them. I've thought about moving some upgrade cards around but that's it. I'm also fairly confident going first or second so depending on my opponent's fleet I'd happily have them pic any of my objectives. Precision Strike is an obvious benefit for me. Fleet Ambush allows my squadrons to get into the action sooner and ideally more unopposed than my opponent would like. And Superior Positions should give my squadrons more opportunities to rack up points when firing from behind, especially with Luke.

No one has any input?

I would add TLR to you CR90 A turns it into a real threat for very few points.

I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to Armada, but I would think that for coming so close to maxing out your squadron points you should have more fighters. The named pilots eat up a lot of points. I think Jan is a solid choice, but more X and Y wings would help you achieve your goal.

Named squadrons have a nice synergy with the admiral, keeping them alive for the rest of the turn. 7 squadrons in the list nicely fits into the squadron activation of the 2 bigger ships and with Yavaris's double tap occasionally making them brutal they should do fine.

I'd bring in Dutch, Keylan and Wedge to be honest. (Keylan/Wedge doubletaps as squadron battle dependant)

Very lightweight fleet, Yavaris is going to go down fast, but I suppose thats where Riekan comes in.

For a rebel fleet, it needs more B-Wings.

But in all seriousness, do take TRC on the corvette and good choice of objectives though I consider taking hyperspace assault instead of fleet ambush.
