Sad? Yes. I hope I have a lasting impact on people as well. I continue to be impressed by FFG. Their commitment to quality and now their demonstrated commitment to the people that make this hobby so enjoyable. We can quibble dice throws and firing arcs all day long. Without the people though, without the mentors as this man evidently was, our hobby is simply an empty waste of time. Fortunately we are a community that is so much more that torps and previews. And this man and this company exemplify this fact. I for one am honored to be a part.

Especially when you eagerly await a preview, such a message certainly has an impact. Sounds like he did a lot for gaming in general - we always need people who introduce new players. Board games have grown so much in the last few years, in part because video gamers streamed in because of how frustratingly bad that industry treats its customers, but also because of people like him, who make the board game industry great. Never met the guy, probably never would have, thanks FFG for introducing us to him.
