The Shadows Mark OOC

Here is my take, modify and change as you see fit; being minions I think the first of them is going to die. The rest duck in reaction trying to avoid the cable and all fall off, sliding sideways through a wall. They are now on their backs, stunned and behind cover.

That sounds good to me. Would it be time for initiative then?

With only 3 minions vs all of you I think that's probably overkill, it will be over before it even begins!

Just give some actions your wanting to do, they are at Medium range from all of you. Their failure includes going last in the round as they all struggle out of the rubble.

Well, they've given our party considerable trouble, but so has Queg, so I'll let other people decide first XD

Naught was probably just going to use any stun grenades they were still carrying against them. If the one that died was carrying any, she could activate them and lob them over the wall.

This group where the ones who never threw theirs, so yes you could get the stun grenade from his now twitching corpse ;) Short range from you.

Okay, the last time I did this it was opposed by Coordination. Should I just treat this as a ranged attack instead?

Yep ranged attack, Short range once you move to get the grenade. 2 Setback for cover and a prone target

Stuns away! : 2eA+1eD+2eS 1 success, 2 threat

So I hit with the grenade for 9 stun damage, what do you want the threat to do?

Opponent gains an immediate free maneuver; they draw their rifles.

They're minions, right? So Strain damage goes straight to Wounds?

When Larik sees them pull their rifles he draws his Dragoon (set to stun) and points it at them. He drops his voice to its lowest register and shouts at them hoping they understand some basic, "Stop! You're defeated. We're battle masters from Clan (he says the clan name I can't remember off the top of my head). Enough!"

As Lalam is still standing in the middle of the carnage, he'd really really like to crack some heads... :)

Yo whafrog, you posted in the IC thread

Lalam is at Short range to them.

Doh! Sorry. Edited the IC

So...Lalam thinks we'll leave a better message if these guys are out cold with their truck on its side than if we let them walk. So unless somebody wants to talk Lalam down from Fury road, he's going to act...

That will likely earn a point or 2 of conflict as well, just for unnecessary violence, but I think it's a great idea and fits the Enforcer so well.

Larik tried to talk them down. He's not going to try talking Lalam out of knocking some sense into them.

But since you mentioned Fury Road and I'm in a weird place after a long weekend, in my mind the montage of Lalam taking them out is set to Lindsey Buckingham's Holiday Road. It's a bit unsettling and quite Tarintino-esque. Haha

Alright, do we need initiative? Otherwise I just jump at the nearest guy (one maneuver), Aim, and pound (not lethally)

No initiative required, just pound away. They are prone but have defence 1.

This is going to end badly

Sheesh:

Making a statement : 2eP+2eA+2eB+2eD+1eS 0 successes, 5 advantage

Just...sheesh. I will pass a boost to the next two people (using 3A), and recover 2 Strain.

hahahaha, gee you guys are experts at lucky failure!
