The Shadows Mark OOC
How about the advantages go to preserve the integrity of the rope and give the Krogan a boost to lie in wait from our pursuers?
Queg wants to set up in a place that will allow him to start sniping baddies should things go horribly awry
Ok, so that failure seems like an Upgrade to their skill, giving them a chance to triumphantly avoid the trap. Currently their dice pool for the check is AAPBDCSS. Someone still needs to cause the distraction and someone needs to try to hide the crew of Bessie.
Edited by RichardbuxtonAnd you have a bunch of advantage Kaigen, I think 2 should stop the rope from breaking.
I'm pretty sure Queg has the highest Stealth, so I guess he should be the one getting everyone in place. Difficulty/Difficulties?
So you have 8 people to hide, that sounds Hard, failure could be complicated so upgrade once. Those Krogan are a bit excited so 2 setback. DDCSS
Wow you guys are lucky in failure! I'll think on this for a bit
Note to self: we are terrible at setting traps.
Note to self, when trying to make things interesting but achievable, make them easier!
Edited by Richardbuxtonsigh... there was a boost waiting in the wings for the sneaky sneaky roll, roll it and see if it helps at all, otherwise this is the effect before you decide what to do with that Advantage
ok i think thats another boost to their check, with Lalam still yet to do anything and Naught getting ready to perform some distracting behaviour. Any ideas whafrog for something you can do to try and steer this ship back on course?
The NPC's check is currently AAPBBDCSS
Yes, not to be cliché, but help us Whafrog, you're our only hope.
I'm thinking maybe if we get ready to shoot "at them" without actually trying to hit them when they come around the bend, that could be distracting and hinder their ability to notice the trap too.
With Intimidating, Natural Enforcer and Touch of Fate I'm tipping he will want to scare the pants off them as a distraction... but shooting to stun may be right as well. of course he could just launch himself at them and spear tackle them off the bikes!
So the trap is set but you need a distraction? I'm happy to play bait, standing maybe short or medium range past the trap, club out in a "you shall not pass" pose (sorry, mixed genre). If that can be done with Coercion then I'll happily spend Touch of Fate. While they were setting up the trap, do I have time to stim myself for 5 wounds?
Yep i think you do have time for the stim. It will be an Average check, Upgraded once for the speed they are traveling at, 2 setback for the fact your not the only one they can see. DDSS
You mean DCSS?...I hope no one minds if I ask for a DP flip...
Sorry DCSS your correct.
Dp is fine with me!
Sorry, bit of a hodgepodge, I decided not to use the DP, but forgot to add the 1 ability die, so here's the original roll (with Touch of Fate added):
Showdown at the Krogan Corral : 2eP+2eB+1eD+1eC+2eS 1 success
with the way rolls have gone lately your better sticking with minor success!
So with that ill increase the difficulty of their check to avoid the trap:
AAPBBDDCSS
Nice! So an upgrade to their difficulty instead of a boost:
AAPBDCCSS
And that means the stealth check was overall a success as well. Huzzah!
I think that's all that any of you can do. Shall I roll the check to see how maimed they end up?
