I'm worried this is going to go horribly awry...or not. Nice roll
Well given how I've been rolling, I can completely understand that concern.
Well, I was more worried about the cinematic offering of Larik affecting the roll from beyond the multiverse XD
This is Larik, standing just behind Naught.

I cried with laughter at this, took me 5 minutes to get over it.
How many Krogan are in the back? You saw 2 being forced in, are there more...(GM looks at Destiny Pool)?
Either way with that resounding success you have yourself a minion group of Krogan to help out.
On a side note how awesome is adding FR3 to skill checks!
How awesome is adding FR3 to skill checks? Occasionally very. Sometimes it is very disappointing instead. We'll call the third point as providing an Advantage, just for kicks and giggles. Four successes seems like plenty when it comes to building goodwill and support.
I'm going to compose an IC post while I wash some dishes and then I'll toss it up.
I think there were 3 Krogan originally, but one fled into a building at the original intersection after they were rescued, if memory serves.
Adding FD to skill checks is great, you know you will always be able to add a success per die if your desperate and willing to suffer the DP/strain/conflict penalty. Then if your already successful you can increase advantage to do something cool.
Correct, one got beat up and left in the dirt while 2 where put in the truck, a fourth was seen inside the building... but where more in the truck already that you found when you all jumped in?
I don't think so. Just the two
As I recall, there were (flips DP) three more in there, for a total of 5. And they were kind of burly. And mad for being rounded up, but really happy with us for saving them and thanks to Naught very willing to help us. One might even be a shaman too...
But my memory may be foggy on that last part...
I think a shaman would have been knocked out... And drugged. But 5 minions seems reasonable, they could be a little reckless, but also enthusiastic.
May I borrow a Krogan to help me camouflage the line while you all get it rigged up? What would its assistance translate to in the dice pool? Right now I'd plan on using Streetwise to give me a AAPBC pool.
A single minion would be worth a Boost.
Should I go ahead and make the check to hide the truck?
It does seem independent from everything else so sure go for it.
Okay. Assuming the check is the same as what you told us on page 92 DDC and I don't think there are any floating Boosts or Setback
Yeah sounds good, a point of System Strain for the truck, and your failure will give them a boost to avoid the trap.
This plan is going terribly so far.
Can I use three advantage to upgrade the difficulty of the Krogan seeing the wire and one to provide a boost to the next PC to act?
Ok so their base difficulty will be Average from that failure to disguise the cord, but you identify something important that will make the risks for them not spotting the cord higher, upgrading the check once. The boost to an ally sounds good.
Should I make the Mechanics check to actually set up the cord in the first place? That was what, an Average Mechanics with two setback? There have probably been more setback added since then...
No more setback, there's a boost actually since Larik is being helpful.
And a boost for help from the Krogan, right?
Ooo yes, forgot about them. They will give an upgrade... And a setback, super helpful, a little too helpful perhaps!
Alright, I'm flipping a destiny point on this. At least one part of our trap has to go right...
