Okay, I hope it works. If the Rival driving the speeder (the one I shot 2 turns ago) is anywhere near, I'm going to jump from the back of the truck and try to deliver a flying drop kick, or at least land next to him in the cockpit. It's that not feasible, maybe one of the minions is near (maybe on my own speeder
)
The Shadows Mark OOC
Well, I think with the Piloting checks, we pulled away from the other land speeder by one range increment
If that's not possible I'll just shoot then whenever there's a turn. Don't wait for me if somebody else wants to go.
Nah man, do something crazy. Make a sniper shot from the roof of the truck XD
On recruiting, the hard part is not knowing who will be consistent, some who you think are right into it will last a week, others will be there 6 months later. Be prepared to have a second intake after a few weeks of playing. You probably want to have high XP rates too, a single encounter can take a week, a session could be a month, but if players are not getting rewarded in that time then they get bored.
Back to the actual game here though. The gap between the Truck and all the NPC's is now Long, they just can't catch up, and honestly they will give up very soon, they will need to do something different.
Edited by RichardbuxtonAre the bikes still at medium then?
No they never where, they where always at Long, they had to mount the bikes and accelerate in the first round

OK then. Theater of the mind and reading comprehension clearly are not working for me too well. haha
Queg wants his bike back. He blames Larik for the present situation lol
Larik finds that incredibly ironic considering who fired the first shot.
C'mon, this battered truck with holes in it is great, right? Much better than those soulless speeder bikes.
Okay yes, this truck can hold everyone and probably has more HP and encumbrance than most of our speeder bikes combined (probably not), but it's a truck !
B-b-but, they have our speeders! Or did the minions fall off them?
I don't really have anything to do, so I'll wait. Or apply a stimpack.
Shoot 'em up! Shoot 'em up! Pow, Pow!
I only have a heavy blaster. Maybe we should round a bend, and ambush the rest at short range
Use your piloting to fake a crash...
Use you move to reach down and grab Queg's blaster rifle it's in the truck bed XD
Ah, I thought someone was using it already. I kind of like my perch, but... Okay, I jump into the back and pick it up...any way Quick Draw can come in handy? Then I'll fire through the viewport carved by Larik. If I don't need two maneuvers to do all this, I'll spend 2 strain to aim once. And since I have zero training, I'd like a DP flip, any objections?
No objections here.
The weapon has Accurate 1, so you get an automatic Boost die, and at long range, it decreases the difficulty by 1, which means your current difficulty pool is DD
Nice... just waiting on Richard for all the upgrades and setback
Shooting the vehicle: DDD
Shooting the driver: DDDSSS with no boost for aim
Well then, good thing I flipped a DP. So that's actually DDSSS because of the rifle's mod, and a boost because it's Accurate:
First time holding a rifle! : 1eP+2eA+1eB+2eD+2eS 1 success, 1 threat, 1 Triumph
Don't forget the floating boost from the piloting check
