Actually, I might amend my plan. Richard, how thick are the doors? Would closing them and then using my lightsaber to cut two small, say, a tad bigger than a blaster muzzle-sized, holes in them be feasible in one turn?
The Shadows Mark OOC
Both of you can do that, the rule of cool always wins
Cool. Thank you.
So who wants to go first? I'll probably take the second PC initiative slot to do my thing, but again, I'm flexible.
Did we ever decide how much strain Naught recovered from Larik's motivational speech? If we're treating it liking Inspiring Rhetoric it'd be 3, but I didn't know if we were using modified rules since Larik doesn't actually have that talent.
There is an extra NPC slot now, so be aware it's PC NPC PC NPC NPC PC PC
Yes 3 strain Kaigen, IR effects multiple people at once, and I increased the difficulty, but the effects on Naught are as per normal. I basically used it as inspiration
If nobody else pipes up, I'll go. Might be my only shot, being the outside target and all...
Edit: if so he will Quick Draw his heavy blaster, Aim twice, and try to plug the nearest target
Edited by whafrogSure. At the moment there is the speeder behind you at Medium range and the other Krogan on your own bikes at Long range. You can use the Aim and suffer setback to aim for the driver. It's a light car so you think you could at least damage it with your blaster.
I will aim for the driver, so I'm assuming DDS? But that cancels the boost, right?
Correct, he has 1 defence too so add an extra setback, DDSS, then I'm flipping a DP... We would hate for you to drop that pistol! So DCSS
Not sure I understand. If I just aim for the party, I'll get 2 boost and drop a setback. If I aim for the driver, will anything interesting happen, or just damage?
What the heck, I'll just do it. I don't want to be that guy at the deli..."what kind of bread is that? hmmm..."
Blam Blam : 1eP+2eA+1eD+1eC+2eS 2 successes
So with double aim you can:
Shoot the car with 2 Boost at DD difficulty since its silhouette 2 = DDBB
Shoot the driver wit 1 Setback (aiming at a specific part of the target rule) which also adds a setback for his defence = DDSS
In either case I'll flip a DP to create the risk of you dropping your pistol (or at least making a hard check to not drop it)
Oh sweet ok, it's a Rival driving with minions hanging out the windows shooting... Full Mafia style.
So setback is on the driver? Makes sense
Ok the minions hanging out of the land speeder will go next, shooting at the truck to try and slow it down, aiming once to do it.
They have the difficulty decreased due to size difference, but I'll give a setback due to the speed of the vehicle they are in. So pool will be PPPBDS. Sound correct to everyone?
whafrog your setback could apply to them instead if you want, as they try to keep clear of your blaster fire
Sure!
Minions trying to stop truck with blaster fire : 3eP+1eB+1eD+2eS 3 successes, 1 threat, 1 Triumph
So they do 12 damage = 1 Hull Trauma. Plus a Crit! Threat is up to you guys.
System strain?
Crit on speeder truck : 1d100 43
So that's Tailspin... The truck gets the speed wobbles as Qheg try's to dodge the incoming fire. All attacks from the truck suffer an additional 2 Setback and everyone is Immobilised until the end of the round
Edit: fixed spelling
Edited by RichardbuxtonWhat if the threat is one of their shots took off a chunk of building and the have to steer around it to keep in line with us. Basically mechanically adding a setback to their pilot check?
And, I apologize, but the typo makes it really hard to determine what happens to everyone in the truck. Are we
Immobilized? As in, no one can move this entire round?
Sorry, yes the Crit adds 2 setback to all combat checks from the vehicle for this round and everyone onboard is Immobilised, ie can't use "move" maneuver to go to a different part of the truck. That bit is more thematic than anything due to the small size of the vehicle.
Gotcha. So that kind of puts the kibosh on my plan, yeah?
