Sorry Naught, Larik's particularly uninspiring right now.
The Shadows Mark OOC
Queg: *plays cards with Lalam while waiting for the next take*
Oof my head : 1eA+3eP+1eD 5 successes, 1 TriumphWell that's some heroic recovery (though not quite enough to get Naught below her strain threshold). Can I spend that Triumph to boost/reduce setback on Larik's Inspiring Rhetoric check as things snap into focus for a moment?
You might be able to spend it to upgrade his check rather than simply boost it, also, did you remember to tack on the upgrade I gave you from the previous encounter, since you fell unconscious before you could use it? (if Richard will let you keep it)
Yes reroll with the upgrade.
Then is it NPC go?
Sorry PC turn top of the round
Sorry for the playing cards thing lol
It's a habit I picked up when I was part of a group Star Trek RP in a chatroom on deviantART - playing my characters as bored actors in OOC
Also, is there any chance that the Krogan who tries to use Queg's speeder bike accidentally activates the rail transformation system and is killed when it collapses in on him?
Yes reroll with the upgrade.
Then is it NPC go?
Are you telling sonovabith to reroll or me to reroll? Also, if Queg gave Naught an upgrade I completely missed it, but since she's lost consciousness since then I really don't think it makes sense for her to still have that benefit.
Well, the description for the Triumph spent is "Upgrade any ally's next check, including the current active character." which I assume means any check at all, even out of encounter lol
The cards was funny
Yes to sonovabith reroll with upgrade from Naught
No to Naught getting an upgrade from before being knocked out.
So sonovabith already rerolled with his upgrade, I think
Affirmative.
How did killakan go about recruiting for this RP before opening the IC and OOC threads?
Edited by ProphytWay back in February someone started a thread as a PC looking for an online game to play in, and killakan jumped in and volunteered to run one. I've been using http://roleplayinggames.net/ which has a recruiting board and is on the whole pretty good aside from a few foibles.
Hmm...I might try running a game here in the near future.
Question, is the back of the truck fully enclosed, like a box truck, or is the top uncovered?
It's a box truck style, I think there is some way to communicate from the cabin to the back, and there are some fold down seats similar to a troop transport. This is a multi use vehicle.
Well, what do we want to do? If I go first I'm going to take a potshot at the driver of the truck behind us and close the door afterward. I'm open to other ideas too.
Recruiting is quite easy, just post a single thread in whichever of the boards your wanting the game to be based in, give a bit of the outline and people will usually flock to it. Interestingly if you keep it to 5 or less people involved then it can be played using the private message boards here too, since 5 people can be in a conversation. It limits outsiders from viewing the story, but I considered it for the OOC for the Gungan campaign I am running.
Queg tossed his hunting blaster in the back. Someone can use it to shoot at the baddies too. Stats for it are on my sheet.
I'm clinging to the side I believe, or am I inside?
I'll let you decide that whafrog, you probably get a better shot from the side, and could get off as an Incidental, but your obviously a bit more of a target.
Just for giggles I'll go for the Indiana Jones version and cling to the side. Since I have Quick Draw, can I have holstered my club during the last round? I didn't specify.
