If yo target the beast you also add an Extra Boost for Hunter Talent
Edited by RichardbuxtonThe Shadows Mark OOC
According to the item description in Savage Spirits, the non-removable telescopic sight on the BlasTech M-300 Hunting Rifle "lowers the difficulty of combat checks against targets at long and extreme range by one". That's why I'm asking for difficulty clarification ^^;
Right, so basic medium range on the "mysterious stranger" would be CC, and on the beast it would be CD, then add setback and defense.

Ahh, sorry, i dont have SS yet (
). ok so that makes it:
Long range = Hard
Scope= Average
+Adversary 2 = CC
+Defence = CCS
+Dark = CCSSS
Mount target:
Long range = Hard
Scope= Average
+Adversary 1 = DC
+Defence = DCSS
+Dark = DCSSSS
Moving closer with Strain to double move takes that down again.

yep
Copy that. Thanks for the clarification, boss
Roll incoming

Pierce does. Im just wondering, is it a "Stun Damage" or "Stun Setting" weapon?
Unless there is special wording "Stun Setting" weapons have a maximum stun setting range of Short. but if its a "Stun Damage" weapon then it can never do anything but stun damage, at whatever range it is given
If it changes things then i'm happy for you to do something different, or do normal damage with the roll you already made
Oh balls. it's just a stun setting. >.< I rarely use stun on weapons, so I forget that fact easily.
Let's just have him do a normal attack then. Assuming the figure isn't dropped immediately by the attack, I'll spend the advantage as follow: 2 to add S to the mystery figure's next check and 2 to add B to Lalam's next check.
Edited by Prophytso do I... obviously!
If you hand me 1A and I go next I can get a boost die?

Since I had the 4 advantage, I'm just going ahead and spending 2 to give specifically Lalam a boost
Ok so your doing regular damage? I should mention that attacking someones back unprovoked could be quite a Dark thing to do... perhaps 2 Conflict. Its not terrible, ( i expect you all to be getting 2-5 Conflict per "Session") and less than it could be mostly because in the end you will discover his true intentions.
Only need 1A. So I took 2 Strain to Move twice, and my Action to do it quietly, and still just squeaked over the line, I should be at Medium range now:
Stealth roll : 3eA+3eB+2eD 1 success, 3 advantage

I'll accept the conflict, because you're right about the unprovoked attack
You could mitigate the strain. But passing boost is fine.
Conflict: 2 added to the "Critical Injuries and Conditions" box on Queg's sheet
*shakes fist* on that note, I'm turning in for the night lol
Just figuring out what they do,
So this is what they are going to do:
Mount leaps into the fray and Attacks the Krogan Scouts, The Mysterious Rider Hawk Bat Swoops from mount to Attack Larik. The Pack will group around the Alpha providing "Assistance".
Alphas attack ill roll for now.
sonofabith ill give you a chance to do anything to protect yourself, Im not flipping a DP on the attack (may need it for Force Pips), but its quite a decent pool, APPP with FFF to try to activate HBS and add advantage to the check.
Attack on Krogan:
Claw and Bite Attack on Krogan : 2eA+2eP+1eB+2eD+1eS 2 successes, 1 Triumph
Khits Fear check:
Fear Check on arrival of powerful Force User : 2eA+3eD 0 successes, 2 threat
No your not able to see any of the stuff going on, its over a mound of rubble.
