The Shadows Mark OOC

Rite of Passage : 1eA+2eP 3 successes, 1 Triumph

Alright, what's your free maneuver?

I'll use my free maneuver to drop prone as I scan for enemies.

Sorry I was out for a bit, daughter had asthma and 2 nights in hospital, then wife had terrible gastro and was in there for a day! Great Easter so far :( but everyone is fine now.

I hope they get better.

Your targets are at medium range if you are at the center of the ring. All the extra blocks give everyone a setback die when firing at something in the ring, more if they take cover.

Dice just not on my side... Really need to invest in Enhance!

Attack roll : 1eA+2eP+1eB+2eD+1eS 1 failure, 1 advantage

I'll pass a boost with the advantage

How many do we see? Multiple groups? Coming from one side or several?

Three groups of three Rodger, Rodgers each equidistant from each other.

If no one objects, Naught is going to take that boost from Khit and attempt a combined check to attack with Move using her silhouette 0 weights, increasing the difficulty by one to use "autofire" and hit multiple groups (I'm looking Discipline + Boost + Force dice vs. 1 Difficulty and 1 Setback, if I'm adding this all up correctly).

No one objects, but the targets are farther than short range from each other, so "Autofire" doesn't work, however, using the Force to simultaneously attack three different groups sounds cool, so you can do it anyway.

Good catch, I'm still getting a feel for how Move works in relation to the normal ranged attack rules. I think I'll just hit one group multiple times in the interests of keeping things on the up and up. Here's the roll:

Aim+Move attack : 1eA+3eP+2eB+2eF+1eD+1eS 1 success, 3 advantage, 1 Triumph, 1 Light Side, 1 Dark Side
I will flip a DP and take a strain and conflict to use that dark side point, allowing me to activate the power and my Range upgrades. I'll spend one advantage to recover the strain and two to hit the group a second time. The triumph will trigger a critical injury. One success with a silhouette 0 object means 6 damage per hit.

Larik is going to use a maneuver to close to short range with one of the two groups that was not targeted by Khit and Naught, fire off a shot from his blaster pistol and then take strain for a second maneuver to duck behind a block for cover.

Shootin' some droids : 1eA+1eP+1eB+1eD+1eS 1 success, 2 threat
Base damage on the pistol is 5, so total damage is 6 less their soak, and the two threat could do any number of negative things for Larik. That group could get an immediate free maneuver against him, or take a boost to their attack on him. Whatever you want.

Total of twelve damage done, minus soak, killing one with a crit, is enough to kill the entire group.

Or take more strain as you manuver through the mess.

@SHADOW

You could flip a destiny point, and get a basic blaster pistol.

If its fine with every one else I'll do that. In hindsight I probably should have bought one before. :D

But then again.. Can I grab one of the guns from the fallen droids?

You have a Lightwhip with 4 dice in the pool, Soak 6, Def 3 and your looking to pew pew them!

Good point

SHADOWGUARD, CHARGE!

Certainly play it how you'd like Shadowguard, but you could make it from medium to engaged and attack them if you take strain.

I just need to get to short. @RIchard+@Killikan I wasn't sure if they would react negatively to my whip like they would to sabers.

Fair call. The chief did say this is a fight to the death though!

Getting Meta here Khit would lend weapons, but her rifle is on Gup ant the pistol she has is very sentimental to her. She also considers herself a good shot, not to mention if we face a beast here she can get an extra 2 boost.

I don't think I need one. But I might if Killikan says they'll react negatively to my light whip.

You wanna find out? 3 purple Knowledge Xenology.

Of what you know, most clans accept lightsabers as just another weapon, their shamans use them often.

Okay then I'll stress to move in to short and pull out my whip and attack: 3eA+1eP+2eD : 1 success, 2 advantage [3eA=A, -, A] [1eP=S/A] [2eD=Th, -]
