That's called "I have a hammer, now everything is a nail!"
The Shadows Mark OOC
What would be the full difficulty of that?
I think you would need to "Aim at a specific part of the target" for 2 Setback. Throwing is limited to Short range, so you need to be closer. There is the Adversary 3. And your particular fear to face.
DCCSS.
Then I'll flip a DP... CCCSS and you have to Aim, Aim twice to remove one Setback.
But don't roll until we have decided what's happening with Kaigens roll
Well, if he moves forward, he can't aim twice
Not in one turn, but move, Aim, wither the storm, then next turn Aim and Throw is a possibility
Well since you have a good alternate, and Prophyt's got a fun plan that requires the explosives to not have gone off, let's go with the interpretation that Naught doesn't manage to set off the explosives.
Ok, so the failure is that Naught couldn't actually focus on the device when the time was right, and missed the opportunity.
In the intervening time Sir Chomp-A-Lot busts through the blast door, sending the top section skidding across the floor. It's huge bulk emerging into the hanger.
I move forward, aimed once for strain, flip a DP to upgrade my attack, and throw with a terrified yodel!
Die hellbeast! : 4eA+1eP+1eB+3eC+2eS 2 successes, 3 advantage, 1 Despair
*dies laughing* I vote that the despair means Queg moves too close to the explosives and is injured in the blast
Lol! Yeah I can go with that, Blast is triggered hitting you too. What's the damage? You can trigger Linked too with those advantages
Base damage is 20, crit 2, blast 15, breach 1, vicious 4
So 22 damage, ignore 10 points of soak, despair triggers blast. Since the damage is going to knock Queg unconscious/kill Queg anyway, spend 2 Advantage to crit and pass a Boost to the next PC with the remaining advantage
Want me to roll crit? Also, do I need to roll crits separately?
So your knocked out, roll both please; one for you, one for the beast.
It suffers wounds.
Monster crit : 1d100 1
And Vicious 4 makes it 41, which is Bowled Over: target is knocked over and suffers 1 strain.
Self crit : 1d100 51
And Vicious 4 makes that 91, which is At the Brink: target suffers 1 strain anytime he makes an action.
Do I need to also roll the crit since the damage exceeded his wound threshold?
No, the Crit only applies to the original target unless additional advantage are spent. You only get 1 Crit. Where you suffering any previous crit that had not healed yet?
Nope. If that's the case, his crit is only the 51. Fearsome Wound: increases difficulty of all Presence and Willpower checks by one until the end of the encounter
Willpower... Fear. But how far over your WT are you? I should just check myself

We're in a real pickle here. I was going to suggest we have the runts collect Queg and we all make a hasty retreat, but If we go back out with Queg, the Imperials will know we're all in cahoots. Did the mechanicals room where I got the power up and running have a door, or was it more of a sideroom kind of thing?
Also, how many exits are there from this hangar bay?
The Electrical room has a door.
The hanger has the following exits:
Big outside door
Inside blast door with monster attached
Hole in the floor
The Electrical room
Another hallway that could lead anywhere (it's actually the same layout as the other Hanger, so this one leads to maintenance, pilot bunk rooms, and the flight control room)
There is nothing else that looks like an easy escape.
I recommend we retreat into the hallway. I'd hate to go into the electrical room just to get boxed in.
Or we could try fighting a space dragon.
Also, I finally got around to spending my XP. Bought Feint off of my lightsaber tree and the first rank of Kill with Kindness from the advisor tree.
I believe the NPCs are up, and if I'm hit at all I won't be going down any hallway...except maybe the one that goes "towards the light"...
