The Shadows Mark OOC

Its up to PC's, everyone can act now.

Without needing any check your quite sure the shuttle is just a crumpled wreck and will never fly again.

To get up out of the pit is a maneuver to jump up and grab the edge, another to pul yourself up to be standing. (essentially difficult terrain, which they ignore hence being able to get up in a single maneuver)

So, if I wanted to drop a grenade in the pack an then try to dive out of the way, what would I be looking at? If they're all engaged together, blast should be devastating to them, if I can get it to activate. I still have an armor piercing grenade left from several dozen pages ago.

And trust me, I know it's a terrible idea.

Also, it just occurred to me the runts haven't done anything yet. Maybe they can help clear out some birds.

If the beast's head is close enough to them, Queg will want to trigger the explosives

Oh and by the way, Larik now knows EXACTLY why the Imperials sent us up here.

To kill us all?

I'm out all weekend, so maybe I can get one last hurrah before I expire. I spend 2 maneuvers to reach the top and play Whack-a-Chicken, and I'm going to assume I can use that hanging boost die:

Whack-a-chicken : 3eP+1eA+1eB+2eD 1 success, 5 advantage

So that's 6 damage (plus pierce 2 from vibroknife), I spend 2A on a crit, spend 2A to recover 2 Strain, and leave a boost for the next person.
If my turn comes up again, feel free to roll for me, I'll find out Monday if I still have a character. Have a good weekend all!

I'll take another hack at them with the lightsaber.

Taking strain to aim twice and snagging the boost from Lalam to attack the larger group.

Making chicken strips : 2eA+2eP+3eB+2eD 3 successes, 1 advantage
That's pretty underwhelming. Whatever. So 12 damage total plus I'll use the advantage to crit.
critical : 1d100+10 31
31: Stunned, cannot perform action on next turn.

I'll calculate damage in a little while

Kaigen still needs to act

Prophyt the long neck is through the door, if your charges are at engaged range with the door then they will hit its head (any crits will be modified to be more appropriate)

Queg triggers the explosives for his action. What's the roll involved?

The creature's neck is through the door? Is it a damaged looking door, or a potentially working door now that power has been restored? I'm just asking. For a friend...

The door looks like it will need replacing if ever anyone wants it to work properly, but this giant of a beast will be through it very very soon.

Queg already rolled the Mechanics, and i had said this earlier

I'm thinking Detonating them will be a Cool check, against the targets defences with the normal Average difficulty of an engaged attack. The Mechanics check could modify the difficulty. Success will grant the Linked 1 quality to the check.

Since Queg succeeded on the Mech check this will have the Linked 1 quality.

Cool check to hit, Average Difficulty, Reduce difficulty by 1 due to it being silhouette 4 to Easy, Adversary 3, Upgraded once for your Fear... CCC to hit!!! you can aim too since this is a combat check, if only there was someone cool as a cucumber and not packing their pants to do this

For the small birds in the engagement there are now:

2 in one group and 6 in the other (assuming Lalam attacked the smaller group.)

Okay then I need someone else to make this check xD

Well, Naught hasn't acted, has a couple ranks of Cool, and can hit the detonator from across the hangar with the Control upgrade for Move...

Would it be DCC for Naught to set off the explosives at the right moment?

Just CC, I think. Short range = D, upgraded three times for adversary 3 would be D to C, upgrade one, CD, upgrade 2, CC, upgrade 3. Is that right?

Yep CC, but I feel it should be a little trickier due to Queg being scared and probably making it hard to get a good view of the button, perhaps 2 Setback, is that reasonable?

You're the GM ;)

Hit the lever! : 1eA+2eP+2eC+2eS+3eF 2 failures, 1 advantage, 1 Despair, 2 Light Side, 1 Dark Side
Welp, that's it for Queg. Sorry, Queg.

This is not going well.

So technically you can choose not to spend the force pips and not have the device blow up. If you do ill not spend the despair to have Queg hit it at the wrong time, ill find something else to do with it.

I kind of have an idea.

It kind of feels like cheating to say "Well, I've got the light pips but I won't spend them because I know it will end in catastrophe," but if you've got an idea for the Despair you want to run with I can go along with that.

I was thinking the door finally gives way and the beast bursts into the room, sending Queg running

Queg can throw the detonator as an improvised light range weapon then of the check succeeds, it sets off the explosives

Haha! That certainly would be epic and cinematic.
