The Shadows Mark OOC

Yes, it's an Easy Fear check (which they probably should have done before attacking).

I guess I don't see the point of pushing them into the hole and doing no damage if they can just get up again and attack me. So I'd rather "knock them prone" and see if I can reduce their numbers. 2 boost from Aim, then the boost you mentioned:

Do they taste like chicken? : 3eP+1eA+3eB+2eD 3 successes

*$&%(#$&!
(sigh) So that's 8 damage total, and Pierce 2.

OK, my point with knocking them into the hole is they would suffer damage from a Medium fall.

but 8 damage at Pierce 2 takes 2 out.

Frightful Weequay : 2eA+1eD 1 failure, 2 advantage

Extra Scary : 1eS 1 failure

so reduce your wounds suffered by 1.

The advantage gives them a boost to their next Fear check this encounter, the other Advantage gives a boost to the Next NPC Fear check this encounter.

Ah, sorry, I didn't understand you meant a fall. Next time... :)

Is the target beyond the door visible yet? If not, Queg will fire at one of the scavs

It's very dark on the other side, and the gap is small, adding 3 setback to an already difficult check, but you could try shooting the big creature.

On second thoughts, I'm just going to spend my turn activating Sense's ongoing effect and moving 1 range increment closer to the TIEs, if possible

Sure. Let's say they where at Medium so now you're at short, with a manoeuvre to engage and another to get inside one.

Okay. What are my ranges to the door and the hole (big beastie and scavs, respectively)?

Ahh. thought i replied. sorry.

From External door to large internal door is Long range.

Hole is Medium, so in the middle of everything.

Ties are to one side of the hanger, for simplicity they are at Close to the hole and Medium to both doors.

Like this, but much more thematic, with a flying camera shot swooping around and across the hanger, ending with a close up shot of Lalams eyes staring resolutely down into the hole at the oncoming critters:

External Door

I

Medium

I

Hole - Close - Ties.

I

Medium

I

Internal Door

How many of them are on the ground around Lalam?

8, with at least that many starting to clamber up the wreckage down below

And I'm engaged with them as well, right? I'd suggested Larik would go help Naught, but since she has scanner goggles she didn't need his help. So if I want to go to work on the ones surrounding him I'm looking at AAPPBBDD? Correct? One boost for aim one for them being prone.

Yep, engaged and that's the right pool

OK

Sweeping up around Lalam : 2eA+2eP+2eB+2eD 2 successes, 2 advantage
So that's 11 damage from his lightsaber, none of it soakable thanks to breach (unless they have a soak of 11 I suppose). I'm torn on the advantages. Can you let me know how many I clear up with that damage before I decide how to spend the advantage? I'm thinking if we're getting swarmed, using a crit to eliminate more of them may be prudent, but I'd also consider using it to add a setback to their next attack. Or some other choice entirely. I'm apparently terribly non-commital this morning.

4 more fall at your feet, so this group have 4 left.

If I choose to use my advantage to crit, how many more will fall?

Just one, they may be weak, but they are still minions

OK, I think I'll add a setback to their next check then.

Did Naught's Mechanics roll count as her turn for this round of combat or are you guys waiting on an action from me?

That ended last round, so you can act. But I have also been very busy with RL

Okay, I just wanted to double-check after being out for a weekend. Naught's probably going to continue trying to get the exterior door open, and I believe the next check is Computers. What's the difficulty going to be on that?

Kaigen, the Computers check will be Average with 4 setback, the system is not designed for doing this and has some safety measures in place that could slow you down.

Well that didn't go so well...

Computer? Computer? : 3eA+2eD+4eS 2 failures, 1 advantage
